I wish it were so, but its always been un-editible and never had a way to change it since 2021 when I ordered it. It looks the same today as it always has ....

I used to not exist, then it appeared at some point, now it disappears when you have a production slot. So you may actually be getting a VIN soon, congrats.'

sounds like you have a reservation and not allowed to configure yet.

At that time, all I remember is when I did it, I picked the 3 motor version. I don't remember how much money I gave them for the deposit.

When does Tesla normally allow you to "configure" it? Would that be when they are soon to be manufacturing it for you? Or, should I have configured it way back when I reserved it?

Thank you,

Ok, it looks like I am to do the configuration later. Here is the first part of my purchase agreement:

Dan - I’ve seen others with the same issue were able to go to a SC and have them reconfigure the vehicle.

Estimated deliver in December. I am in the Long Term Share Holder program.
Nothing in your screenshots indicate LTS (Long Term Shareholder), how do you know that the LTS program applied to your order? I think that perhaps the LTS applied for mine which I already took delivery of, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm just trying to gather more information, Thanks.

I had a Nov 2023 (Delivery Day) reservation that I requested be accelerated through the LTS program and just received my configuration email yesterday. I'm guessing I was one of the last ones accelerated through LTS given the very late date of my reservation. Thank you Tesla, looking forward to my June-Sept delivery!
Picked up my LTS CyberTruck last tuesday… wonderful ride so far! Best wishes to all in line… they are cranking them out!

Thanks, I feel a little better.

I don't see any way on the Tesla website, to "switch" the order or trim. I can cancel it and order a new one, but I doubt I would get that one in two weeks. Here is the screenshot of when I hit "Manage Order":

I have also tried calling them and only get recordings.

Ugh......

One day I sat on hold for 90 mins and finally gave up. I found a text message that they sent me… sent my questions to it… lo and behold they answered my questions… day after day I got answers. Texting takes time but not immediate attn. Seems preferred among Tesla employees. Worked for me on my solar system as well.

You could be right. The only reason I thought it might be LTS is it says, "Early reservation holder". I didn't order it until June, 2021. That is hardly an "early reservation holder". But, maybe I am. At this point I don't care, I'm in.

Here's a pic of when I signed up for the LTS program:

Anyway, good luck with your order....

Just received my Beast VIN tonight! I personally don't think the early investor program was the cause, mainly given that another poster in my area got their Beast VIN and delivery prior without LTS eligibility in the same general timeframe of order date, but regardless I'm super excited now to finally get my truck!

That said, I pushed as much feedback as I could about the program, including directly to the top of the Tesla IR team, so I hope things are in motion. Either way I do hope that Tesla does do something for those who signed up and qualified that ultimately did not get the "early delivery" benefit for doing so.
