The way you "get out of it" is to show contrition, pay restitution, and spend the summer cleaning up roadside trash. That should get it knocked down to a misdemeanor.

Yes it was dumb, but it's not productive to brand an 18-year-old with a felony conviction that groups her in for life with murderers and drug lords. Teens should be able to learn from their mistakes, when I was 18 I was stupid AF. Lucky for me there were fewer cameras back then hahahaha

No one ever announces that they are the mastermind of the operation. Like all the villains in the Superhero movies are so proud of being the instigator.

A mistake is when you pump regular in your tank instead of premium.

A felony is when you willfully destroy someone else's property because you don't like their public opinions.
