Has anyone tried to file down the sharp edges on the CT? If so what tools did you use? Will it affect the warranty?
Thanks
Thanks

As with any manufactured item, it's always possible for there to be a defect or a part that, for whatever reason, didn't get chamfered or deburred fully. If there is a sharp edge, it can be easily smoothed out with a piece of emery cloth.I don't think that's a thing any more. My CT was a June delivery and no sharp edges.
I honestly did this to my AWD and Beast 2 weekends ago. I used a a grinder and a 80 grit flap wheel. I do some metal work for a living so it was a 15 minute job for each vehicle. All you have to do is just round the edges just to take the pointy edge off.Has anyone tried to file down the sharp edges on the CT? If so what tools did you use? Will it affect the warranty?

I too have a sharp wit. Just don’t want to have to get a tetanus shot because of my CT. ?I tried using my sharp wit, but it was a little too grating
You should try something a little less sharp. Like your sense of humor.I tried using my sharp wit, but it was a little too grating
