I think I ordered when the price was revealed or very shortly after. Prior to that I kind of expected it would be way out of my price range.

Same. I saw the price, and it was in my range. Spouse had given me a ceiling and it was under it even with FSD.

yea....my wife is questioning why we need the truck now....especially with pricing seemingly going up to around 90k......she says we have a Model 3 and Model S with free supercharging.....she makes a good point about we dont drive much and we dont take too may trips that require longer range....in addition, she pointed out that we are not going to move any more and that if we need a truck, we can rent one for $40 a day......she is pretty smart.....it will depend on final pricing.......

Yeah, we plan on using it for big trips. That's why a truck with good aero is important to us.

I ordered on the evening of the reveal on whatever price based on the hint that it will have awesome features.

And with the $100 refundable deposit, what is there to lose?

I ordered as soon as they opened it up……then my credit card said pending for 2 days. Ended up 130,000 in line. Really sucked.

Waiting 24 hours to order the truck might have cost people six months to a year of waiting.

At that point how quick and how big the ramp up is more important than start date.

Maybe Tesla hits a run rate of 350k units per year by end of 2023 and you get yours fall of 2024?

It’s so crazy how quickly the wait list built up.
