That's one of the largest perks of riding hands free in this truck lmao. I need to put together a compilation of the faces I have captured as I drive around in rural areas. cracks me up every time

I had one guy the other day scream "fucking jew" at me as i drove by, I thought that quit odd as I'm not Jewish lol. Also had an old guy mumble fucking something from his truck as I drove by, I turned around and caught up to him a couple blocks later, pulled up beside him and asked if he said something and he went ballistic swearing and screaming at me as we drove beside each other, it made me belly laugh so loud at him which probably messed with him more than anything
Laugh at them and point, that's been my go too lately as it truly is funny in a sad kind of way

Colorado is most likely the problem here; there are some very deranged, lost people who have infected that entire state.

I think you're right. I don't know the cause, but it's a very BLUE state overall.

I was hoping the Cyberhate from all sides would die down. Over the last couple of weeks I was encouraged, it seemed to diminish. But I guess it’s like the weather

I was parking at a restaurant last night and three old ladies walked by my Beast, one of them saying “that’s the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen in my life” I responded “likewise”

My wife was blown away and we both were dismayed that a complete and total stranger would offer up unsolicited negative opinions.

And in my neighborhood these kids have been flipping me the bird every time I drive by. What’s odd for me is typically kids love this thing as do older people. Is hate contagious?

I was in Boston a couple of months ago. Pre-printed notices were attached twice to my CT exhorting me to sell it in order to fight fascism. However, I have had lots of very positive interactions with the public. Often I get to show my CT to people's kids and tell them how great it is!

I get very few negative comments. Get tons of positive from older folks and young kids. have even given some folks a ride, let others sit in it to check it out. I do get some negative comments, but I really don't care it is what it is. I bought it for its technology and the easy maintenance. I love this Truck and that's all that matters. I bought it for me.

I don’t care much about the haters either but my wife won’t drive the beast, she abhors confrontation. And she loves the truck too, as much as I do.

I had a guy entering Best Buy as I was leaving give me the thumbs down. I did a u-turn, followed him back to his parking spot and pulled up next to him. He looked a bit scared until I rolled down the window...

Me: "Thumbs down? What don't you like about it?"​

Him: "Well, I love and support Elon, don't get me wrong, but I just don't like the Cybertruck."​

Me: "Think of it as a concept car. It's full of advanced tech that will inform the design of future EV's...only this is real and driving on the road today."​

I went on to share all that it could do and he was amazed at everything I shared. He had no idea what was on the inside, only reacting to the outside.

A few days later I passed three young teenagers with red hair, multi-colored hair, and blue hair, dressed in black with black shorts. They made a point of giving me a two full finger wagging salute. I just laughed and waved at them back...with my middle finger...

It's not as crazy as it used to be, but there are still crazies out there....

My first week of ownership I had an older guy in a white hybrid Volvo SUV tell me it was "f*cking ugly", I just said with a smile "congratulations on your opinion" and then he started yelling about Darth Vader. I kind of think there's a cognitive aging problem with some people that manifests in very odd ways, especially when they are confronted with out of their ordinary situations. My friend who works in that field says they see it early when something is jarring to an elderly person's sense of ordinary and they get agitated. It takes them a while to spool down too, once triggered.

Also, there's a ton of people on all kinds of meds driving and walking around that does mood stuff to them.

The kids, eh, I found if a tween/teen kid is by themself they like the truck, but if it's a group, there's derision. Clique behavior.

Around 6th grade they can start getting programmed, kids at the elementary school love the truck, and those are people who haven't been quite programmed yet. I don't need validated, but those are honest at least

There's so many angles. There's expensive vehicle hate, Elon hate, EV hate, they think it's ugly, it's hard to tell which one is their problem lol

It just stands out too much and it's an easy target for all of those things. I don't get anything in Florida anymore though there's so many Cybertrucks that I'm pretty sure any hater has gotten bored with it at this point.

The ugly angle is a strange one. It's like can't you just keep that to yourself? If I think your wife or kids are ugly am I going to yell it out at you lol
