This follows Tesla's new product rollout to a tee.

Offer the flagship top of the line model first and then follow up with the lower priced trims.

Notice this is the first reference to FSD

here styled as FSD "capability"

So read between the lines here:

First, FSD cost is extra/in-addition

There's nothing on this order page for including FSD yet

So, my read continues to be that Cybertruck does not yet include ability to run AP/FSD, but of course it will in the future be able to have it added
"FSD capability" is the same verbiage they have on the current order page for all other Teslas. I would actually read this as what is normally a $12,000 option as being included in the purchase price. If so, the foundation series isn't a terrible deal.

Fair enough. but I’m - little confused by your comment

“FSD capability” is the same verbiage on other teslas, that also don’t come with FSD included

meanwhile and additionally, this is however a list of things *included* in the headline purchase price

BUT, to date, we’ve only seen this going to Tesla employees who perhaps (based on reports here) get FSD for free?

so while I concede I’m altogether unsure if this price includes FSD, I’m still not sure if the relevance to the value

and in event continue to believe that FSD/AP are not yet working in CyberTruck’s delivered to date (or for the near future)

If you order/purchase another tesla, the order agreement will not include "FSD capability" as a line item. That only shows up if you push the $12000 blue button when you order. Here's an example from the Y we purchased earlier this year.

My read is that the FSD capability that you would normally pay $12000 for in another
Tesla is included in the purchase price. Primarily because it is the same verbiage as is used for those, and listed with other items such as the bi-directional wall charger that are also included in the purchase price of the foundation series. I've been wrong before though.....

Including intel:

Several Tesla employees got the same email today.

However, interest in paying the $20K premium appears ... cool
if any of those employees had stock at the right time they are probably doing pretty well. i had a coworker put his kids through college with early tesla stock.

I’m sure that’s what they’re told!

can confirm employees get FSD for free

no clue what that means relative to what the foundation offer is two employees, versus Normies

What the heck is an “Order Fee”?
Just want you to know I am NOT going to make any insulting fun of you for posting this question ... like answering back, "An 'order fee' is a fee that Tesla charges for ordering".
NO ... I refuse to take advantage of the humorously challenged in such a fashion. So, do please ignore this post here from me ... and strike any memory of it.
