You want on the ride before all of the people who waited in line? Sure but, your'e going to pay for it. I just received my invite to order the Foundation and like many of us, the proverbial rug has been pulled out from under me. Understandably, a company's goal is to profit. A good company has loyal customers. Tesla's loyal customers have mostly been patiently waiting these four years for delivery. It would stand to reason that it should be rewarded. In order to squeeze more profit out of these early CTs, a fluffed up version is offered. There are some heated comments on this site. Hopefully, Tesla is listening. The $70k, 500 mile range tri-motor is now a $100k 320 range Beast. And they want another $20k for white seats, a sticker, and a house plug.

You probably shouldn’t get the FS. Doesn’t seem like the right purchase for you.

oh and Id say Tesla isn’t listening to the musings of this board nor do they give a shit. Their goal is to make vehicles and make a profit for shareholders.

It’s steep and yes laying for early access. But keep in mind things included

- lifetime premium conndctivyy
- FSD (if you believe robo taxis will be real then still no brainer) could see FSD being 20-30k option in 3-5 years
- light bar (~$500)
- floor mats and sunshade (~250)
- installation for PowerShare (up to 4k covered)
- wall charger ($500)

i read tesla is netting like 5k but overall either you can afford and buy now or you wait 2-3 years for your pricing of 70k…

easy as that, im not wiling to wait so im paying, i see your point but there is value there still buying now imo if you keep truck long term

You don't get white seats, OP. Just white trim.

I agree. I sat in a CT at the West Covina SC, and I'd much rather have the rumored 'tactical grey' that others have found in the code on the configuration page.

If I end up ordering a FSCT (I got the invite on 01/18/24 but haven't acted on it...yet haha!!) I will have the white wrapped dark grey.

I totally agree. I'd cough up the extra $$$$$ if it was even close to the 500 mile range that I'd made a reservation for. And my reservation already locked in the FSD at $6000. So I don't see any reason to get a "Foundation" model that isn't what I ordered.

I know, it's a little bit whiny of me but I'm 63. I would like to enjoy it while I'm healthy. People in my family die young.
