Front Axle Replacement underway for my Cybertruck

Hey group, just wanted to share some information on my recent problems after a front motor replacement incase anyone else experiences this.

Prior information:
- I originally received my Cyberbeast back in May.
- I experienced the same growling sound and feedback in the front motor that many others have.
- Tesla replaced the front motor in August.

Since the new front motor has been installed, the original growling sound and feedback is virtually non existent. On the flip side some new issues have appeared...
- When going through a load shift (coming almost to a stop and then starting to accelerate) you can feel the front motor engaging and also an audible thump.
- While driving, if you accelerate at any time, any speed, you can hear a clicking sound in the front right of the passenger footwell.
- This one is not reproducible. Occasionally when the truck is cold and regen braking to the first stop, you can hear three loud thumps.

I scheduled a service appointment and the truck is currently there. They said they are replacing the front axles and that those are the cause of these issues.

During this service appointment they are also handling both recall items (wiper motor and sails)
Do you have a dual or trim motor cybertruck?

Interesting. I had my front motor replaced due to noise/vibration. No clicking though. I did have one thump on engagement during my first drive with the new motor but it hasn't returned.

You should always turn right. Just like Elon
It was the left that turned further left... Elon has always been near the middle. Now the left is in foul ball territory, outside the left field grandstands. They are complaining that they can't see the game. Elon is the home plate umpire, calling out the balls and strikes.

I had my front motor replaced a few weeks ago for the exact rumbling issue at low speeds (less than 10 mph). The problem is less severe but still exists. I’m just not going to push this further. The truck is so silent that these minute rumblings are amplified and audible. If it worsens in a year or so, I’ll get it checked again. It’s definitely annoying. Love everything about CB except this rumbling and sometimes high pitch fluttering from the motor.

I'm in a loaner Cybertruck for the first time (AWD VIN < 3000) and it has a really bad low frequency rumble above 60mph.

It also has the old school lo-fi navigation voice! I found that interesting.

Made me appreciate mine just a little more ?

Please don’t disparage Boomer’s. Most boomers parents fought against the Nazis and dictators, they didn’t try to join them.

I hope you are not implying that Elon is trying to join the Nazis and dictators. A false narrative if I've ever seen one.

I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but it could be assumed that is the implication here.

If I was born 6 months later I would not be a boomer. My observation is I'm not in either the boomer or the Gen X camp. The people (the media) who made up the generational divisions really screwed up bigtime. ;)
