I never said anything about speed law. The NHTSA has made it clear that immediate hand off needs to be obvious and audible and visual alerts.This issue has zero to do with the speed law. All of Tesla max speed controls allow you to exceed the speed limits if you so desire. It is about safety of a very distracting unsafe unnecessary alarm.
Where have I said anything about driving 100mph? I find it amazing how facts get so distorted.
You messed up and it scared you, but you exceeded the max speed the system can handle. They have to let you know that you have to take control.
