I've had it for a couple of days. I use FSD quite a bit, and it's been great - truly magical - but since installing ...32.6 I've had 2 emergency disengagements (which I've never had since getting the truck a month ago - just disengagements for navigation errors and end-of-trip parking).

Both instances were about 2 minutes apart yesterday, and resulted in the truck suddenly veering left on the highway. In the first instance, it was ready to send us down an embankment. It was scary enough that my wife says she'll never use FSD or ride with me if it's engaged.

I couldn't see anything that might have caused it - no cars coming into our lane, no animal, nothing on the road. It just violently veered left as if performing an emergency evasive maneuver.

I grabbed the wheel almost immediately, and there was no physical harm done.

Be careful out there - I was very comfortable with FSD and really trusted it completely - it's just so incredibly good - until it isn't and requires your immediate focus.

Yes—it isn’t totally trustworthy yet. I hope the next update will implement the version description addtional features (similar to the AI4 version on the model Y). I sorry it failed and scared your wife so bad. I use it and it perform very good on the highway. Local street roads driving can be questionable and require extra attention.

It had been essentially 100% reliable to that point - 90% of my rides were the Cybertruck driving me, and sometimes I'd drive it, just because it's a great vehicle to drive. I'll keep using FSD, but the incidents were a great reminder to be not to confuse "supervised" with "unsupervised", as tempting as that may sometimes be.

Try changing your setting to "Advanced" in the truck - that should get you quicker updates (I think it's in the Auto Pilot menu).

Yes - recorded and reported. It's hard to capture the magnitude of it on the video, because it happened so fast and I corrected it almost immediately. I've repeatedly tried to upload it here and it fails every time (just tried again). Gets to 100%, sits there for a long time then tells me something went wrong.

nope. It has been on advanced as soon as I found it. I am surprised it is taking this long, I usually get the updates fairly quickly.
