Anyone else having issues with FSD swaying? My truck is constantly making steering corrections which makes the truck have a little quick nudge left and right. It is still tracking in the middle of the road lines but it’s very annoying… bad enough that it’s made me nauseated because of the constant lateral movements. I’ve had my truck for almost 2 years now and this just started being an issue from the last 2 or 3 updates.

I’ve done the 2 button reset, power down, reset DAS, reset camera calibration…nothing has helped. Anyone else having this issue?

Does your vehicle drive straight manually? Test it by going down a very straight road that isn't sloped on the sides(ideally the middle lane of an interstate) and left go of the steering wheel. Do it veer to any side? And if so, how long before it does?

Tracks straight as can be. As soon as FSD is engaged it starts the wobble.

it’s so interesting how different people have different FSD experiences…I never had phantom wiping or sudden braking that a ton of people complain about but this steering thing is really ruining the FSD experience. I’d say it’s worse at 30-50mph. A little less noticeable once I’m going above 60.

I’ve sent multiple reports after disengaging FSD back to Tesla.

I read in a model Y forum…The forum data right now shows this is a widespread v14.3.2 software regression. Tesla rewrote the AI compiler with MLIR to make the car's reaction time 20% faster, but the steering damping is completely miscalibrated, causing the neural net to hyper react and create a lateral oscillation feedback loop.

You have already performed what I would suggest with the exception of making a service apt for them to look at it in action. Maybe a camera giggles a bit. 🤷‍♂️

14.3.4 seems way more crisp and improved. It’s the first palpable improvement in overall performance since 14.1 imo. Maybe that will fix things for you.

I've noticed in the past, earlier versions.
Sometimes pretty noticeable.

I was just noticing yesterday that it seems to be ok now.
I assumed later software updates fixed it.
Just got an update a couple of days ago, but it's been good for a month or two.

Not happening to me. However, I don’t get nauseous from swaying. The one thing I can’t wait for FSD to do it steer away from pot holes. I live in Atlanta and there’s not too many of those here, but the. Ones they do have are huge.

This happened REALLY badly to me with my camper (26) FSD 14.3.2 overcorrect steering harmonic resonance | Tesla Cybertruck Forum - Cybertruck Owners Club . Slightly better now on FSD v14.3.4. I continue to report like you do. SOOO annoying that you have to be in park to switch back to cruise control, but that might be your short-term mitigation until they get this figured out. Next step for me is a service call if it does not continue to improve, though incessant DAS resets to reestablish FSD are likely to be #1. They replaced my computer but still losing camera0 about every other drive or 20mi, whichever comes first.

I read a post here. Said if you have another profile setup with TACC enabled on one and FSD on the other you can switch driver profiles while driving.

It is an FSD coding issue. I have had this happening on my truck since 14.3.3. Just dropped my truck off this morning for recall work and was given a loaner MX with HW4 and it does it too. It becomes more noticeable the faster you go, but since the MX has a multiple turn lock to lock on the steering wheel, it is glaringly obvious watching the wheel rock back and forth on the freeway.

Edit: spelling

I am not getting that but one thing they need to fix fast is when its raining, naturally the truck wants to avoid the lane with a lot of standing water but when in that lane and water splashes up, the entire truck jerks out of the lane...that is insane! Happened all morning on my commute.

1. The truck should use the wiper to clear the view, not jerk itself out of the lane (out of the way of the splashing water)

2. For the love of god, if groceries or work bag are in the passenger seat, use the goddamn cabin camera to determine it's NOT a human and STOP bitching about the seat belt.

3. Make map alternative routes selectable during FSD. Sick of having to disengage FSD because it wants to take some ridiculous route.

It's not.

I have 3 vehicles with FSD and none of them wobble at all. The M3 wheel only turns when it needs to correct variances on the road.

Most people are stating that it does not happen.

That started happening to me a few weeks ago soon after an update but went away within a week or 2 after the following update.
