He says a lot of things, probably going to happen in 2 weeks. /s

Until they can figure out forced FSD disengagement due to the sun glare at certain times of the day, it’s not going to happen.
and the 1200 other things that FSD forces disengagement or drivers have to take over for. FSD has come a long way but feels as if it has a long way to go to be FULL SELF DRIVING
I really have no idea how the robotaxis in austin etc are not having issues

YES!!! it now pulls into my driveway instead of my neighbor’s driveway. Something a little different is it now pulls into the center of my two car driveway instead of the left lane of my driveway. That was the first time after this new update, but we will see what happens in the future.

Since Robotaxis are still geofenced, they probably use a model that's focused on their area only (no need to handle international-style lanes/signs/etc. or anything that doesn't exist outside of that relatively small area they drive in).

When you get into your driveway, disengage and move the truck into the place you want it to be. After a few times, it'll get the idea and park there going forward. I always BACK into my driveway and the truck kept just driving in forward. After about a week, it started backing in like I usually do. Really surprised my wife and I!

I also back into my driveway but it still wants to pull in. Is this possible after the latest update?

I'm not sure it is actually "learning". I'm honestly not sure what is going on. The way mine parks is completely inconsistent.

Context: I have an L shaped driveway with the offshoot being under a carport. The CT has actually successfully parked in the carport for close to a year now.

In the past 1-2 months without any manual input, it parked completely inconsistently. It will either pull in forward (either as a straight driveway or all the way into the carport) or reverse either into the driveway straight or all the way into the carport.

It is 3/3 for successfully and cleanly backing up all the way into the carport. The last 2 were back to back but it just stopped doing it.

I haven't manually parked for at least a month.

Oh also, it has successfully BACKED OUT of the carport, all the way to the street, 2 times. Otherwise it does a 3 point turn which I have to give it a little nudge so it gives itself enough space and doesn't do some austin powers garbage.

All I can say is what I observed. I consistently disengage if my truck tries to pull into my driveway without backing in. After about a week, it started backing in on its own. It was on the version before this one and it's still doing it on this version.

My only problem is the snow keeps blocking the cameras, so I haven't been able to test to see if it'll go all the way into the garage yet. Too much snow right now in Minnesota!

Mine keeps trying to pull into the parking lot of a church behind my house and there is no way to get from there to my house so FSD is definitely not getting that right (yet) :) :)
