Unfortunately, I am two hours away from SC and the NC SCs are NOT easy to deal with. They are very stingy with loaners and put a 100 mile limit on driving them (I live 110 miles away). I envy y'all with good SCs.
Have you been to the Raleigh Sumner Blvd location? It's very new, and there are some really good folks there.

I have not - hopefully it will be a better experience.

Nope, still the same crappy service. 1) they wouldn't give me a loaner, so I had to drop off over a weekend so I wouldn't have to ask someone else to get off work to take me. 2) let them know it was in the parking lot. 3) my appointment was at 8am today and I get a message that I have missed my appointment and they have cancelled it.

No change in the North Carolina Service Centers. Was hoping Sumner Blvd would have been different.

Can't charge the truck, they won't fix it, and ABSOLUTELY NO correspondence from them. Won't answer messages, the phone, or voicemails.

oof, yeah it sounds like someone missed the mark here. I've always had excellent service at this location.

The other service center on Glenwood was bombarded for year until this one took some pressure off.

The new collision center is also on point.

It's just so frustrating. They FINALLY called me about 10 minutes ago. The repair was originally going to be compete by 4 today, but since they screwed it up, they put another truck in front of mine. Now, I've inconvenienced folks that were going to help me pick it up today. The only answer I can get out of them is that the repair "will start today". What the what? That's just saying words without disseminating any information.

And now the completion date/time is Thursday at 4:30. Great, 4:30 the day before Good Friday. I had taken the day off to spend with family - only upside is that family is available to help me pick it up. NC Service Centers still come up with creative ways to f things up.

I know, this sounds like nothing but sour grapes, but I've owned 6 Tesla's since 2021 and they have NEVER gotten it right.

I have yet to see a non failed PCS replacement done proactively. Those that have talked about how they gave donuts and other gifts to service center never provided any invoice or proof that it was done. Also disappeared into the web....

Invoice or it didn't happen.
I did not have a failure and Tesla Service proactively added the PCS replacement to my appointment for a tire replacement due to road hazard. I actually questioned this because they already had my wheel to install the tire on and they just needed to swap it with the loaner wheel/tire roadside service installed, they had set me up for a loaner Model X and I was like "for a wheel/tire swap"?.

That's when they told me the PCS under the bed was being replaced proactivley.

The service was setup by roadside assistance and you might notice there are no "customer states" references.

Scary, thought Tesla was past all this with drama after many years of experience, sometimes parts come from the cheapest bidder.

There is a tool to fix all electronic issues.

Noticed my charge was limited to 24A and sure enough, after getting into Service Mode, PCS2 has failed. I have an appointment with Tesla for repair in a couple weeks, but one question I have is: will they replace both or just the failed one?

This is important for me as I tow very often and like this weekend, was in an area where only Level 2 3rd party chargers were available to me. I manage only 3 miles of range per mile driven when towing, so there were some harrowing moments. We luckily managed this weekend, but if they do not replace both and I have to stress over when the other will fail, I may just sell the thing - my livelihood is more important.

FYI - 33,734 miles and 20000 VIN; however, mine is not under the "official" recall.
Got my PCS2 error a little over 2 1/2 weeks ago. My appointment was yesterday, April 13th. I arrived early 7:20am anxious to get ā€˜her’ back and drive this beautiful machine. Parts aren’t in they said! Now my app shows expected time of completion is MAY 4th! They said there are 6 CT’s waiting for the same thing on their lot. They did give me a loaner, Model S. At first, kind of fun. But I sure miss the presence my CB has on the road. And nothing drives, handles, reacts and fun to drive. Im relatively new to Tesla. My CB is my first. How in the hell did this happen and so quickly?

Those were the same PCS parts replaced on my warranty repair.

My PCS failed while I was still charging it on a 120 V charger and adding only two or 3 mph. I don’t think babying it has anything to do with failure.
