I use mine all the time but if the CT automatically sets itself to the lower position when parked to get in and out I don't think it will be an issue

The edge that Tesla wants you to grab is the defacto grab point that everyone used for the Model 3/Y to pull the door open after popping it open with the handle. So Tesla just made it the actual and only way to open the door.

I think he means interior “oh shit” handles, not exterior door handles. :)

This might be a fair accessory if it’s not included, I typically use the shit handle or put my hand in the pillar itself… which might be frustrating with fingerprinting my own SS CT!😬

If it's like the model Y

deal with it.
Grab handles can help reduce wear on the seats, and help out when you are holding something (like a pizza!) in your right hand as you exit.

I always have a tendency to grab the oh shit handles myself while riding in a car, idk why, and I certainly won't blame it on my wife in a public forum such as this....

It took some getting used to in my model Y since it doesn't have them. I would hope the CT would given that it's a truck and is meant to be taken off road, we'll see I guess.

Do current interior CT photos not show them?

Yeah, interior handles should definitely be an add-on!

I've been searching pic looking for those grab handles but I have not seen a pic with!
My mom uses the handle when entering my truck on the front passenger side. She needs it!

I use them in smaller cars. I like to have a place to put my arms that isn't at my side.

I don't understand Tesla's aversion to them.

A big +1 for “Oh Shit” handles. I’m certainly used to having them, and definitely use them.

If I’m moving into an off-road vehicle with good torque, and lots of suspension travel with an expectation of off-road excitement?!?!🤪

Duh!
