I live smack dab in the middle of the west coast Tesla service dead zone (i.e. southern oregon). I had a Tesla service appointment for tomorrow in Bend, but the winter weather has changed such that chains are now required (I've been waiting for chains to be available on Tesla website, and yes, I know we could get them elsewhere). Even if I had chains, it is a long drive there and things could be bad enough that getting back could be worse.

The Chico location to the south has a similar issue in that the weather can become quite bad at the Oregon/California border.

Take a look at the service map below showing I'm in the service dark zone.

Sure, plenty of other people are in similar situations all over the country, but I'm just looking for a way to appeal to Tesla to consider a location somewhere in Southern Oregon that doesn't require driving through pretty severe

I love that area, mostly for it's lack of population density and nice riding roads. That lack of population density is precisely why there still aren't any convenient service centers.

It won't do any good to recommend a service center in an area that doesn't have enough population density to support one. As Tesla continues to grow production, they will continue to expand Service Center locations. For now, you are out of luck.

Tesla really does not care about Customer service. I can’t find a number or email to give them any feedback. They are just arrogant and think that that have a good product and don’t care about what their customers think. I am waiting for wheel covers and light bar for 4 months, new trucks are getting them before us. I challenge anyone to find me a number that is answered by a human or a e-mail address that someone monitors

I tend to agree, but between Medford and Grants Pass alone represent about 8% of the entire population of Oregon. There are 3 service centers up north around Portland, Tigard, Salem, and Bend, but even with those population centers, that is less than 25% of Oregon.

The area around Chico California (where there is a service center) is about 210,000 people while Grants Pass and Medford metropolitan area is about 285,000 people.

I don't doubt that Tesla has good reasons, I'd just like to have a way to make an informed appeal. There just doesn't seem to be a channel to do that.

What a load of crock and ignorance.

Every time I have a service visit, they send me a customer service survey 24 hours after my visit with a field to add customer suggestions on how they could make the service experience better for the customers.

Of course they care about Customer Service, but if you want them to kiss your ass, and tell you how right you are, even when you are wrong, you had better go to Mercedes or Lexus. They have found that's the easiest way to get into your wallet. Tesla just wants to service their vehicles efficiently, with a smile.

Just fill out the service survey and put a vote in for a new service location wherever you think it makes the most sense.

The service survey does not take in non service related information. Do you have a general customer service number or email? Or you prefer to be ignorant of that fact?

Yes it does, the service survey specifically asks for tips that would make your service experience better, and having a closer service location would certainly fall into that category.

More to the point, it would absolutely go directly to the people at corporate Tesla who are charged with improving customer service experiences.

Don't deny it.

I'm sure that Tesla allocates Service Centers based on vehicle density.

Want to be heard, convince more people in the area to buy Teslas.

It does not appear that Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia, Arkansas, New Hampshire, Kansas, nor Alabama have ANY Service Centers.

Oregon has four.

Absolutely agree that there are many places with even more difficult access to service (hence my mentioning this in the OP). They too might like a channel to make an appeal for a new location.

As for convincing more people in the area to buy Teslas, that's a great idea. It would nifty if there was transparency regarding how Tesla was making this decision and what the current stats were. Then I would know if I need to get five more people to purchase a vehicle or 50,000 more.

Interestingly, there *is* a way to appeal for a new tesla charging location, but as far as I can tell, nothing similar for service locations.

You can put in text or narrative only if you give a low rating to service. So I am supposed to punish service for no fault of theirs?
