I agree on the Frunk, I think it’s the issue although minor. The rep through the app said it will take a full day to do the tonneau. I did check the manual and it is quite the project.
I had the extra slat added to my tonneau earlier this year, and my service center did a great job. It was done perfectly (I was a bit worried that something would not be done correctly).

Well, I decided to go through with the repair, documented the truck prior with a short video. End result is, I don't have any complaints. They kept the truck for 1.5 days, didn't touch it the first day and seemed to start and complete the repairs in just a couple hours. The entire tonneau was replaced from what I can tell, removing the dented panels and adding the extra panel. I don't see the "bar" in the rear window when the cover is down but the additional slat is clearly there so that is nice. I have not tested for water leakage.

They also repaired my left front fender that came "unclipped" or was sticking out almost an inch. Although I initially requested to have the body panels looked at and repaired/replaced due to waviness, I changed my mind. I explicitly asked them to disregard my request to look at the body panels due to just too many nightmare stories online. I have noticed just about every CT I see on the roads where I live have some sort of panel issues. All my lines are good.

Lastly, they gave me a Model S Plaid for 2 days. Wow, painfully fast, although I didn't mess with it too much. Fun car, but not nearly as enjoyable to drive as my CT and arguably not much more exciting if at all than my wife's Juniper. Glad I got to check that box. I would like to drive an X, but I will say that it's going to be terribly difficult to ever buy a new car that does not have Drive by Wire and FSD. The CT is the best vehicle I have ever had, even better than my 2010 paint-peeling mini van!

Thanks for the encouragement to go through with the repairs. Now hoping the occasional phantom passenger seatbelt alarm goes away.

There is a pressure sensor in the seat. If you store anything there heavier than a few pounds, it will detect it as a passenger.

If you're getting the warning with the seat unburdened, then the pressure sensor is giving faulty readings. Not sure if/how it can be adjusted.

I am pretty sure it's the sensor, nothing on the seat, I reach over and push down on a few spots and it goes away. Not sure if it's only in FSD as it's only happened a couple times and each time I have been using FSD. Not ready to take it back in, so I will give it some time and if it continues and or other issues arise I will take it back in. Damn I love this truck! I have not felt this way about a vehicle since I bought my first one myself, Jeep Wrangler when I was 21 many years ago.

Have your kids jump up and down on the seat for 20 minutes, maybe it'll reset

Did you spill something in the seat?

Wet seats set off the sensor.

Nope, only had it a week and a half with maybe a total of 20min of passenger time.
It might be something as simple as the connection to the seat isn't firmly set. The stories on here about bad Service visits are like most things on the internet: you only hear about them when there's an issue. It's a new truck under warranty: get it fixed!

I will get it fixed for sure! Just need a little more time due to life, work, and family and want to see if any other gremlins pop up.
