After the snow, the streets are heavily salted. Any problems caused by this for the CT especially in relation to the body material?

I live on a saltwater bay and have a stainless steel barbecue grill. The parts of the grill get surface rust spots, (not very corrosive) and the steel grill parts, (grill that holds the charcoal or wood) rusts in no time at all. Salt would not damage the body of the Cybertruck but the steel parts that make up the parts underneath the truck would rust heavily. I would definitely rinse the bottom of the truck often, especially after traveling over salted roadways. An easy way to do this is to place a wide lawn water sprinkler on the driveway, turn it on and then drive back and forth over the sprinkler to rinse out the steel parts of the truck.

We had some snow a few weeks ago and the roads were heavily salted. My CT got heavily salted as well. I didn’t get around to washing it for a couple of weeks. I hand washed it on a nice day, and expected there might be some etching or something, but zero. If anything, it seemed a bit more shiny after washing it. ?. I did rinse the undercarriage as well as I could, and drove in some rain to maybe rinse the underneath.
I will try the local touchless car wash that has wheel and undercarriage wash. I do that with my model Y.

In this respect, I would treat it like any other vehicle. The stainless is highly resilient but salt isn't good for anything (except margaritas, of course).

I live in Salt Lake City. For obvious reasons we use Salt on the roads in winter. It used to snow down here in the city all the time. Not really that much anymore, but salt on cars in winter is standard operating procedure here. The steel members of your suspension won’t get damaged from road salt. Do we sometimes spray the undercarriage? I guess maybe. Old cars used to rust the rockers and floor. Not so much on modern vehicles. The suspension is bomber either way. A little salt these days ain’t gonna do nothing. On the Cybertruck it’s absolutely a nonissue.
