That's true. There are laws regarding dogs in the cab too. I simply said it's not illegal to transport your dogs in the bed.
And no one said you couldn't transport dogs in the bed if they were enclosed or secured.

Are you saying your statement was misleading?

The claim was that it's illegal to transport dogs in the bed. That's like saying it's illegal to smoke cigarettes.

Traditionally, of course. A little mustard, ketchup and relish. And cheese sauce. Lots and lots of cheese sauce!
But seriously, I hate hot dogs. Pig snouts, ears and buttholes? No thanks.

Hot dog eaters can rest assured that these pig parts are NOT in hotdogs.
Snouts and ears sell at pet stores for more per pound than grain feed T-bones, and buttholes are used as substitute calamari*

No, the false claim was that it's illegal to have dogs ride in the bed. It can be seen here:

In Washington State, and other places, it's illegal to ride with one's dog in the bed of a pickup. Anyone who's owned an SUV doesn't favor losing the advantages of a space for the family dog withing the air conditioned cabin. If this is not in the debut design of the CB, it will be in future models.
I was simply correcting that statement which is obviously false.

Easy enough to check: In Washington, it is unlawful to "transport any living animal on the running board, fenders, hood, or other outside part of any vehicle unless suitable harness, cage or enclosure be provided and so attached as to protect such animal from falling or being thrown therefrom."

If the back seats lift up to expose a flat load floor I will be converting it to a huge dog bed + personal hotel room for my pup.

Can I get some suggestions from others about how you plan to bring your dog if there's no pass-through?
My 100lb. GSD rides in the bed of my current truck. He loves it. Why would I want him farting in the interior of my Cybertruck? That's only for me!

Hope my 13 year old GSD lives long enough to enjoy a ride in my Cybertruck
