Yeah, I am one of those "biting the hook".

I am over 65yo (barely), I have had some success in my life and would NOT qualify for the tax exemption, even if I waited.

So, I ask you, if I can afford it now, why wait?
Not getting any younger, here.
I am soon to be 70. Last purchase for me as far as cars go. Health not the greatest either but, know this … when John Rockefeller passed away as the richest man in the world, his accountant was asked “how much $ did he leave?” The accountant seemed prepared for this question and replied …”All of it!”

Are you a long term shareholder?
3 years or so and not enough shares to qualify… i wish!! I might be one of the highest numbers on this site that actively engages ? ? I would probably go with the FS AWD if they go through reservations first…. if I have the chance because once the prices drop and people jump back in, I could be YEARS out

My guess is that 95% of the “Limited Edition” Foundation Series invites are being ignored and the other 5% of reservation holders are biting the hook that Tesla threw in the water. In other words a 5% conversion rate.

The ongoing speculation is when will Tesla leadership stop manufacturing FS CT’s and switch to “normal” trims.

Some say 20,000 units. Others say it will last for the entire 2024 CT production run. Some speculate that Tesla will send FS invites to all 2M reservation holders until the list is exhausted.

Basically dip the $100k/$120k bucket into the well until it runs dry to maximum revenue to help with HUGE Cybertruck CapEx expenses.
What do you think they’ll do?

My prediction? All of 2024 production will be FS trucks. 2025 order banks for non-FS CT’s will open up in Q4.

This is pure speculation. I did predict that non-FS AWD Cybertruck would MSRP for $79,990 so I do have SOME credibility?

How deep does 2024 go? Like a RN 117xxx ? Haha. It’s ok to say that I am in a dream world to think I would get one before 2026

Just received, May 29. I am RN 11323XXX. My place in line is 495,744. How can I be getting my truck now? Is everyone passing up their opportunity? Am I getting catfished somehow?
good luck! RN11344 is my res # in AZ - I originally ordered it May 27th 2020....Got the invite for Foundation May 30, 2024 -Originally I wanted the Tri-motor w FSD But ordered the AWD dual motor - I'm guessing they will sell as many Foundation series they can before starting the others. AND yes being #500k or so inline means ....to me -interest rates have screwed people out of buying....many are waiting for the other versions to get tax credit.... I was surprised and "oh crap" at the same time but get more excited everyday ...I rationalize the extras (about 20k) I would have bought most - premium connectivity and FSD for life....

Don't YOU THINK insurance would go down with FSD and Tesla insurance ??- they need to bundle it - my safety score improved 5 points on our MYLR with FSD...So excited to get the Cybertruck July-Sept time frame..... If I wasn't 70+ and didn't have all the broken bones from riding a Harley for 54+ years... I'd get the Beast or if $TSLA stock jumps in the next few months - but another 20k ? I might just go for the Beast- What's the most they have built so far? 25,000 Cybertrucks Foundations?

Yea and a broken clock is right 2 times a day... sorry not dirt on you - just popped up in my mind. I believe you could be right. I figure they have produced maybe 25,000 Foundation CT? total by EoY.. I'm pretty sure my original order, May 27, 2020 - estimated to be about 500,000-600,000 inline. Many are dropping out- % interest rates killing all sales - many were just jokers/not serious and many are waiting inline for the end of Foundation and looking at the $7500 incentive. So I'm going for Beast...if I can talk myself into it...,..

I too received the same email tonight, RN11332**** and didn't expect to see that email for a year.

When did they go up to $119k for the Cyberbeast Foundation Series package and $99k for the Dual Motor Foundation Series package?

I like that they include premium accessories and powershare gateway and universal charger with Cyberbeast package, but thats another pretty big price jump. Still considering my options...
Same - I don't think they have made 25k CT's - maybe 25% - Beasts. I am trying to sell myself on the Beast - I don't think many are buying because interest rates and waiting for the $7500 - I bet they end production of Founders edition EoY...

Same...... I was hoping for my CT by my 70th birthday

People are not buying because of price increases, interest rates and wanting to wait for the $7500...incentive. I got my invite 5/30/24 - I was (guessing) 500-600k inline. Ordered originally 5/27/2020 - 6 months after it was announced. .... So, I figured only 15% going for Beast and total 20-25k to Foundation series will be made. So the less Foundation produced the better for all in the long run... Switched to the Beast - maybe 2-5k Foundation total of Beast. Anyone have another guesstimate?

I think Tesla will collect the extra 20k as long as possible. They still have Canada to do too.

That's not your place in line. The RN includes all Tesla vehicles. Most of that 495,744 number is Model 3's.
