The Tesla insurance quote was even higher for my CT too (I haven't used Tesla for insurance in the past). So I stuck with State Farm which, for me, wasn't much more expensive than the MYP I traded. Though I had to increase my deductible to get there. I'm at less than $150/month when bundled with another car, two trailers, and my homeowner's policy.

I've had Wawanesa for 20+ years, both home and auto and they are outstanding.

Claims, pricing, general service are all top notch.

Yes, I heard that. They are based in Canada and sold their US operations to AAA.

They claim that everything will stay the same, but we'll see, haha!!

I do like using AAA for DMV-related tasks, they are great for that.

My 2023 MX Plaid, and my 2024 CB are insured by State Farm. I have good coverage, and a reasonable deductible. My cost is only $159/monthly.
Of course, I have additional policies with them, including my home, scheduled jewelry, and an umbrella. The office is less than a mile from my home (not that it matters for the purpose of this discussion, but it is convenient).

My insuance went down when I traded 2018 Model 3 for new Model X, and CT doubles it. Both about $500/half with esurance (allstate)
