I have a 1935 Chevy with suicide doors.
They are the easiest doors to get in and out of in any of the vehicles I’ve ever owned.
Maybe Ford just did a really poor job?

Yes. You have to have the front door open to open the rear which creates an entrapment area in tight parking... The person getting out of the rear has to slide forward into the space made by the front door opening in order to close their door so they can then slide back by the rear door so the front person can slide back by the rear door in order to close the front door... It's a process.

But yeah, independent doors that happen to be suicide doors are easy to egress and ingress. With today's latches and electronics, I'm a little surprised nobody makes them at scale.
