It's a PASSING lane in Texas, and you can be ticketed for driving in it.

Radar detectors and scramblers are legal in Florida

Thinking about it, radar scramblers can't be legal anywhere in the US, because an electronic device that interrupts the function of another electronic device through radio emission isn't legal under the FCC.

Well, they're wrong about what states they're illegal in, so... That's a strike, Mr Donut. They just can't be on a window. Which is true for almost everything.

PS, light is electromagnetic waves, so interfering with devices with flashing lights would also be illegal. There's just less case law on the subject.

Oh, they work. I live in NE NC and commute to VA weekly. Google traffic enforcement in VA for perspective. BTW, LEOs (at least in VA) have radar detector detectors. I know of one model that can't be detected by LE and I validated it by some local LE buddies. They didn't believe me at first. LEO: "Okay, turn it on". ME: "It's on right now". LEO: "No effin' way, WTH model is that"!!!

I have a feeling, however, once I get the cybertruck I will stand out like a sore thumb and attract a LOT of LE attention and dont want to give them any reason to pull me over. So, I might just rely on autopilot a lot on the highway and chillax and get there when I get there.... now that I think about it.

I dont have a tesla, so I can only imagine by watching youtube vids and talking to current owners. Austin traffic stress me out, I fucking HATE all the rude drivers that have migrated here that ride slow in the left lane and dont use blinkers but speed up to cut me off when I use mine. I can imagine autopilot will lower my BP a bit in traffic. I also hope the Cybertruck gets a bad ass sound system. I really hope that isn't overlooked. The new Highland Model 3 audio looks wild.
