Tesla Cybertruck Is SoC accurate even if sleeping? 1000037141

As you can see, the truck is asleep. Showing 80 miles. I haven't checked it in 5 days it as showed right before it updated to 8 hours. Is this current or to get current miles I'd have to wake it up basically.

Even when asleep, it is not “off”. It is still monitoring vital systems like the pack, occasionally topping off the MV battery, etc.

So, yes, the SoC should be accurate, even if the truck is sleeping.

It will also enter a deep sleep after a certain SoC level.

Would also recommend enabling low power mode remotely if you have not already

Not current, the SOC graphic goes grey when the data is stale. If you tap the vehicle image to wake it, you'll get the current state.

So there is a chance it is less than 80 at this point?

Theoretically, the vehicle will enter a self-imposed low-power state when the SoC drops below 20%. High-drain functions like Sentry Mode will be disabled. Not sure if that will also handle an errant stuck process, or code defect that is consuming CPU, but that should be rare.

Below about 2%, it will stop topping-off the 48V MV battery, and when that dies you'll need to "break in" and jump-start it. The contactors on the main HV pack will remain open, so no further drain will be possible. Going to 0% SoC is not harmful, but dropping to zero volts will likely destroy the pack (and your wallet, hahahaha). Fortunately, such a pack can keep a charge for weeks/months, just like a rechargeable AA cell sitting in a drawer.
