Is this worth getting service for?

Just picked up a FS AWD. Doing an inspection at home, I found a couple of cosmetic things on the trim worth mentioning for service to fix. I want to get the truck wrapped ASAP, so I figured any repairs on trim shouldn’t be an issue. However I found on the passenger side door right above the mirror where the frame is looks to be warped? Not sure what this area is called, but on the driver side it is completely flush. The passenger side looks damaged. The outside metal panel is fine. Under it is a black-like metal and a seal/weather-stripping that’s warped. Is this worth putting off on wrapping until this is addressed?

Mine has a fair amount of that. That said, you paid for a warranty which means, try. You have a finite amount of time to iron out all the issues with the truck. When you take it in to Tesla you get a loaner vehicle with free supercharging to put miles on someone else’s dime.
Why not?

With my fingers, I'd try to maneuver it back into place. If that doesn't work then I'd 100% take it in.

I've noticed on my Tesla vehicles that from the factory they typically don't secure a number of panels, plastic parts, etc. All I've had to do for most things is just press firmly on them to get them to seat properly. I'm not saying that is the problem here but it might be worth a shot.

If you get a CT loaner, this makes some sense.

Otherwise, you're making CT payments but driving a MY. That's less than ideal.

Yes you win in one aspect but still lose in another. Its like paying for fist class airline tickets but they put you in the back of the plane in coach seats but they give you free drinks all flight. To some its acceptable but to others its not.

For the ones that actually use the CT as a pick-up truck, its ridiculously frustrating to be put in a MY or MX.

If Tesla had enough CT loaners, then you're logic is gold to me.

Haha we went deep into airline analogies.

I said all this because I dropped my CT off for service before going away for a long weekend at a lake house. I somehow was able to land the only CT Loaner that my local SC has. If it wasn't for that, I would have been pretty upset to not have all the bed space of a CT.

Try getting a screw driver up behind the gasket to fold it back down. I had two spots like that when I got mine. I think that's how I fixed them. On accident too.

Get it corrected asap. It is a "harder" rubber seal there and it should be recessed and straight, even surface along the whole length.

Just a quick question here regarding the window gasket. Are you opening the door correctly? Push the button first that lowers the window. I get passengers who use the other mechanism that doesn't.

and regarding first class, I was once on a flight sitting in coach, and after the plane reaches altitude, this blonde haired woman decides she's going to sit in first class, and the stewardess notices this and tells her that she has to go back to coach she cannot sit in first class, and the young ladies reply was I'm young, I'm beautiful and I'm going to South Carolina in first class. And the stewardess tells her she cannot sit there. She has to sit in her seat in coach and the two of them going back-and-forth and again. The young lady says I'm young, im beautiful and I'm going to South Carolina in first class. So the captain comes out and he notices that there is a problem and he asked the stewardess, is there any problem? and the stewardess tells him and then the captain politely leans over and whispers in the young ladies ear, and then she gets up suddenly and goes back to coach to sit in her seat. Then the stewardess asked the captain what he said to her and his reply was I just told her that first class does not stop in South Carolina.
