San Francisco, 1/22 order with no vin yet .... however, tesla did allow me to merge the account which I was surprised, considering how many people were saying you cannot change emails on accounts with configured order.

I woke up everyday, check my tesla app, no vin, and then come onto this forum page to check on everyone else's status update for hopes lol

How did you get them to do that?

If there are certain things that you want to do or change on your account, one option and maybe the safest option is to go to the SC and speak with someone on the “Delivery Team”. They will usually be at a computer or laptop. That can deal with mistakes on your account, changing DOB’s, making sure or changing finance options and what not. I’ve spoken with them twice last week and was assured my process was going as normal when I needed confirmation. I don’t call I just show up and ask the questions.

I will need to change from cash to financing once VIN is assigned. Hope that goes smoothly

How did you get them to do that?

I asked them nicely and presented an ID. The sales helped me to merge accounts at a delivery center.

I ordered 1/12, in Minnesota. There hasn’t been any delivered to Minnesota yet.

I stand by my prediction that we will see a lot of Texas deliveries over the next 13 days. If they care at all about end of quarter numbers, they can only really send stuff to AZ, UT, and TX.
