Or how about we get someone of known height to jump in the bed and lie down for a photo!

Then we'll know more approximately what the length is!
@CyberGus is out there… he just needs to get on the Tesla campus, break into the warehouse, climb in the bed, and take a selfie.

I hope you're right!! With a 6.5' bed, it would be the longest out of all the other EV pick-ups.

Assuming the tail gate opens max at 0-degrees, a combination of extending the length of the Russian doll ramps and/or allowing the pivot point between the tail gate and the first ramp to bend should take care of that.

As I've mentioned elsewhere I really hope the tail gate and ramp are electro-mechanical.

I suppose it is possible that the cables extend to allow the tailgate lower past the bed plane. They are much more efficient than some massive hinge.

I love the shots where they show the business end of this guy.

My Gravely Commercial 12 tractor with snow blower is over 800 pounds. It would bend this ramp. Because this ramp telescopes, if one piece is bent, there's no way the ramp would close back up.

This is a poor design and I bet Tesla has figured that out by now.
Just make the tailgate removable, buy some nice ATV ramps, and call it a day.

Personally, I'll be happy with air suspension and 220/110vac output as standard equipment.

Well all I can say is that these pics look better than the leaked ones in my opinion.

What the hell, the tailgate went totally cheesy. Elon said the production version would be the same or better, the prototype had rad angles all around, this one is blocky, probably easier to make, but cheesy, complete with the standard cable to hold open. YUCK! Also, there's a disgusting bed liner. Whaaat?

Hey guys and gals, long time lurker first time posting. We all want to know box length right? And we estimate that she’s wearing 20” rims correct? Unless that’s a for sure, but what’s really for sure yet. With my estimater hat on, assuming a 20” rim, I think I see a 5’6” box length, possible 6’…. Maybe someone with the fancy measuring software can make a closer estimate? Really box length is my only stipulation currently . I drive a Ridgeline and the 5’ box is just not enough. I wish we had better details . Anyway, hello everyone, nice to be here with youz.

I would rather have stainless steel on the base with a plastic liner on top to protect the metal..
But it's stainless. Protect it from what? 'Snot like it's regular truck steel.

I’m guessing this is primarily a test bed for 4 wheel steering, the suspension and maybe 4 motor drive. Not everything will make it on early test models
