Don’t want to try another one? It’s $20K cheaper now than when you bought yours and it will actually work this time (well, unless you’re the unluckiest person ever lol)
It’s not really 20 grand less because the foundation series cyberbeast included a lot of things that the current offering does not include. So there really wasn’t too much of a premium, you were just not given a choice about the options they included.

And it may be 20 grand cheaper, but it’s still depreciates like a rock (far more than any other vehicle I’m aware of ) as soon as you leave the showroom, and the design issues that brought me to this point are still present.

Speaking of depreciation, I asked Grok about the Cybertruck and it said this:

“The Tesla Cybertruck depreciates faster than most vehicles in the U.S., especially compared to traditional pickup trucks (e.g., Ford F-150) and some EVs like the Rivian R1T. Its 35–45% first-year depreciation is notably higher than the 20% typical for trucks or the 30% two-year average for all cars. However, certain luxury EVs or niche vehicles, like the Tesla Model S or BMW i8, may have comparable or worse depreciation rates, particularly over longer periods. Without exhaustive data on every U.S. vehicle, it’s not certain the Cybertruck is the absolute worst, but it’s among the highest-depreciating vehicles, driven by oversupply, limited demand, and external controversies.”

These issues may not be in every truck, but they have the potential to be and that’s not worth spending over $100,000 only to find out I’m right back where I started.

No… this is the universe giving me a do over. I may get another Tesla, but I will not consider getting another Cybertruck until there is a significant redesign of several parts of the vehicle. Based on how frequently Tesla redesigns their vehicles, I think we will all be waiting a long time before there is a meaningful refresh that addresses the issues that I ran into.

It was certainly bittersweet. VIN was sub -30k.

So many cool engineering features on the vehicle. It makes me sad to go back to something normal. I will especially miss the drive-by wire/4 wheel steering. That always worked like a charm. That said, I am putting together a list of things like under seat storage, extra windshield wiper, extra hub cap… Things like that. I’ll post it by this weekend.
You can’t be serious.
It is a good Truck, this unit has flaws… maybe the next will be in better working order..

I’ve had very minimal issues with mine. Not even close to what you have experienced..

luck of the draw (for you) maybe..

Unfortunately, I think you may be the exception more so than I. In any case, good luck and Godspeed.

I've had very few issues, and love the truck, and wouldn't consider anything else, right now. There are more of me than you, guaranteed.

I bought a FS CB in June 2024 with a VIN#13k and drove it for couple of months. 2 visits to SC took 2wks. Another 2 visits needed which would have taken 2 wks or so i think. At that point, i decided to return the truck. The SC told me that i can sell it to third party which i did at the time.
Fast forward to June 22nd, I bought another CB regular one with a VIN#75.3k Built in May,2025. I was very anxious at the time of delivery because of my past experience but to my surprise, this time everything on the car looks very good. No misalignment, no seat noise, no loose trims, no scratched windshield, no wavy rooftop, no leaky cover bed, no scuff marks. I am genuinely impressed.
It is a difficult decision to go back. The reason I went back because I really enjoyed driving it. SBW, 0-60, ride quality, 4WS, Sound system, interior etc. are something that I could never find on any vehicle. CB is in a different class.

I bought my CT in December and have logged 10,000 kms without issue. As have the majority on here. Yet this guy has 8, count them, 8 issues---and none of them can be resolved---after many visits??? C'mon people. Recognize trolls when you see them. And then don't comment. It's the exposure that they're looking for. Admin should recognize this, but they are probably busy as heck.

Finally got my Cyberbeast Lightbar appt email and added all the others stuff I’ve been kind of dismissive on. The suspension issue will put me over the lemon law limit so I think I may try a buy back as well.

30k -ish. Not so early
it looks like the Cybertruck AWD I’m getting has the last digits in it’s VIN as 25995. That’s good, right? If it was made in Austin and it’s the 25995 produced hopefully all the kinks have been out of it by then.

That's a FS Vin made around June or July 2024.

Rumor is that fresh Cybertruck builds are in the 75xxx VIN range. 2026 production is only 6-7 months away.

That's a year old. I would not buy it - more recent builds are much different.
