It's OK, not everyone can be good at math and physics. :D

I know you're joking. If not, just play along.
Nah, I've never had a vehicle with locking differentials so I wasn't sure how they distributed torque. I was confused from statements like this:
Tesla Cybertruck Lockers -- What do we actually know? 1704313706161

It seems to imply that the full power of the rear wheels will be applied to the wheel with traction, so in my mind, the total output of the rear motor would be applied in the AWD version rather than just 50% of the rear motor divided equally between the two wheels.

Im ready and willing to believe any evidence, but none has been presented. Tesla doesn’t have a department to ask. Service techs won’t know anything yet even if I could ask one.
I have been looking everywhere for the same info. If you search my previous questions on this forum and others but no one has an actual straight answer. So frustrating. Even tesla showroom tells me they have no idea, went to the service center in Fremont and they don't know either. Then I asked Tsportsline to do a video with off-road mode details, they finally did. You can see from the video from Tsportsline the screenshot Rutrow provided and it is showing front and rear lockers, so I placed order based on that information. I asked youtubers to see if they can manually engage them they said they can't so no one really knows.
I mean this is pretty critical information and people are saying dual motor has front and rear lockers but it's not officially confirmed anywhere. In Munro video with Frnaz they only mention this for the beast.
Typical Tesla. When I purchased my Plaid it was on their front page that it will have tilt screen and steam integrated for gaming. Whe I was picking up the car they said it will be enabled later. A year later software update came and my car was not eligible because of missing hardware for tilt screen and low memory for steam unless I paid more for upgrade.

Well, coming soon! Dang it! Another Tesla software thingy. Looks like trucks are still in development and Jan to March won't be happening for us all.

ok that's good at least we know its coming soon not like the FSD which is not a priority. Hopefully it won't take 6 months or more like the torque vectoring on the plaid.

Table for visual:
Induction and Permanent CT.jpg
based on the configuration of the beast (permanent in the front), I would assume it would be FWD during cruising. I would definitely get dual if it is true since I favor rear drive biased AWD system, even during cruising.

Hopefully you saw this follow up post.

To follow up with more clarity. Kyle talks about the AWD Dual rear permanent being used for highway crusing and the front induction motor being shut off. The reason is the permanent motors are not able to be 'shut off' and still use some energy.

So in this chart, wherever you see the permanent for the single, dual, or tri-beast that is the highway cruiser. [Re: My TMX with both Ind. motors uses rear for "Range Mode" link]

17:00 into the video.
