From this photo, it looks like the Long Range RWD model doesn't have a bed sub trunk either

Good catch I think you’re right. Because the storage volume is decreased and that would def do that.

For those wondering about the bed outlets, looks like they have modified the new mobile charger. It has an adapter to allow you to still run electrical equipment through the mobile connector.

But it’s only a cubic foot so to me that’s more like the center console size decreased. See attached

Eh. It’s the $60k variant with a $10k/100 mile range boost.

That's actually a genius move if they did pull that off!

There no way I would give up the feature set currently in AWD, however.

I don't see this helping much? Right? Like what's the likelihood of us seeing this like a Honda civic on every corner.

Tbh I’m my opinion not very likely the model 3 or y on the other hand I can see being the new Honda civic or Toyota Camry/carolla.

Yeah, some of my favorite things are the air suspension smoothness, the vault, the sound system, the electric in the bed, the extra storage.

Not to mention the speed and off road worthiness of the AWD .

But if I wanted a CT and my main thing was cost and range, this is it.

In my opinion for most truck owners, this is still a good value, especially in a lease. Most people don't need AWD, or the outlets or the air suspension. For many people, they need to haul something once in a while, have seating for family, and decent bed space - this is a bargain given the tech and safety you get. And it's still the greatest looking vehicle on the road

I love my truck even at the 100k I paid. I do wish it had the longer range like the top models were supposed to have. I like the gear locker it comes in handy and I use the L track with the divider almost every day. I am constantly moving it to adjust to the cargo I am carrying in the bed. I can’t imagine not having the motorized bed cover. It offers an extra layer of security for items in the bed. Not sure the soft tonneau will give that same security feeling.
Yeah the bed is useless for holding anything except garbage with that soft cover.
