not everybody buys/drives Toyota Rav4-many can afford Camry & Corolla-there's market for RWD CT-no more Sky is Falling mindset.

This feels like another money grab.
Tesla stands to make as much profit on these, if not more than the cyberbeast with all the downgrades, and this has to cut the production time by a decent bit as well.

It’s still not clear what Signature Headlights are? Is the RWD not going to have an LED Lightbar across the frunk? Or will it just be opaque plastic that dosent light up?
yeah I think that’s it exactly. Won’t light up it’ll be there or if anything they’ll just light up the two corners like they did with the rear. If that happens it might look cool.

Looks like they lost me as a CT buyer.

For $60k bottom of the line CT doesn't make sense especially with all the things they took out and only 3 miles range improvement? I don't see too many people buying this model. This is not going to help their sales, maybe help the AWD. Maybe $55K, they will have some sales.

I know 3 others that pre-order the CT. None of us are order a CT. We all have MY and/or M3. So that should said something about the CT and pricing of the CT. I am looking at the R1T now. Is just so sad.
The R1 T will have more features, but cost more money. And no other truck on the market will have Tesla software and FSD. If those things don’t matter to you then you’re better off buying a lightning or any other electric truck.

Those brake lights are ummm… subtle
That's tail light mode, not brake light

For those wondering about the bed outlets, looks like they have modified the new mobile charger. It has an adapter to allow you to still run electrical equipment through the mobile connector.
The Powershare Mobile Connector could always do this, it was just waiting on the $80 adapter now available in the Tesla store.

-2019 RWD reveal price: $39,900
-2025 RWD price: $69,990
******A whopping 75.41% price increase******

We knew that Tesla was going to de-content the RWD model to achieve a lower price point and now we have the facts.

Here is a summary of changes that I noticed on the “Endurance Hauler“ RWD trim:

-removed smugglers bay in bed
-removed rolling tonneau cover
-18” wheels (20” Cyber wheels a $3500 option, 29 mile range drop)
-front and rear lighting modifications
-removed rear seat display
-removed ventilated seats
-removed rear heated seats
-textile seat coverings
-removed 8 speakers and active noise cancellation
-removed HEPA air filtration
-removed power outlets in bed and cabin
-reduced towing capacity
-reduced payload
-basic console
-less premium bed lighting
-removed L hooks from bed
-removed air suspension feature (conventional shocks now)

I don't see HP and torque numbers listed on the Cybertruck website.

That is a lot of sacrifice for a 10K difference, imo.
No cover may not be an issue as folks may need to add a truck bed system with its own cover.
No power on the truck bed side, no 240V outlet is a mean move.

@Crissa So I know you have been holding out for this model. Are you going to finally push the order button?

I just bought my AWD 2 weeks ago, and this would not have changed my decision. I didn't do any upgrades so I got the 7500 EV Tax credit, so the amount of features given up wouldn't have made me drop the price by about 10K . . . Doesn't mean its not a good idea to attract more buyers who don't see the additional features as worth it - but just not worth it to me.

The RWD will probably be the most reliable out of the line up because of less components.

I’ve taken my awd for tonneau cover service 3 times,
Seals coming out, wouldn’t close all the way, and visible gaps on the top. After the warranty is up these are going to be expensive repairs.
