Major mistake by (CPA!) with Commercial Clean Vehicle Tax Credit

Except yes they did need to, unless you filed for this and got approved then you are just saying things without actually trying things, whereas I tried to file it and yes they did need to provide the 15400

It's not in the section for the commercial credit. It's in the other section.

So I can see why Tesla might have not thought they needed to file.

Did Tesla file the 45W credit required documents very recently or in the past?

They didn't give the chronology. Are you having issues filing?

Federal return with 2024 Cybertruck Qualified Commercial Clean Vehicle 45W credit was accepted. So the VINs are active. (Well, mine, at least, was)

We really need a run down on how exactly this was done on the forms because I found many people with issues on this, must be their CPAs have no idea how to do it right!

Well I had my CPA re do it all like Mongo said and it did allow for section V to be filled out on form 8936, he should be submitting it and we will see what happens.

Haven't filed yet, to early for me. But have a friend who's beast commercial credit for his s corp bounced. His CPA is very likely to have made a mistake based on net worth and charged rate.

How do you know it was accepted? My CPA did mine so all I heard a couple days later was that is was rejected last time. Would he get a accepted notification?
