the first pic, i left my 1.5" spacer on, then we pulled it out and realized theres too much rub with the 305/70r18s i decided to go with. the second photos is without spacers and they look perfect. i love the look of the 305s with the big meaty tires, but ive got to figure out what to do with the lug nuts. they threw a set they had at the shop on, but the chrome looks dumb.

i havent experienced that at all, but two weeks ago i did get the wheels and tires put on. i didnt realize until they were being installed that the kit didnt come with Lug nuts. what did you use for that? i guess i assumed Martian would include matching ones. really happy with how it looks though
They provided lug nuts (but at an additional price). They arrived a couple weeks after the rims arrived.

The OEM lug nuts fit. That’s what are on mine.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the Martian Wheels. I'm seriously considering them as an upgrade from the stock "core" wheels. The MW look amazing on the CT, but the beadlock is actually kind of a bummer for me... I do some pretty occasional and mild offroading, nothing crazy. I want them more for the style. But having them stick out in the non-beadlock format really sucks! Totally kills the look.

just set it up as a beadlock. it looks awesome. your truck is going to tell you if you lose pressure and theres a leak. ive had mine on for two weeks and have had absolutely no issues. and i prefer the ride on the 18" wheels. the extra tire gives it more cushion. dont regret it one bit.

Even if they work, they aren't legal for highway use if I understand correctly. No idea if thats something thats actually enforced enough to worry about though.

there is a less than zero chance that a cop is pulling me over for it. Martian says that it is legal for highway use. i honestly dont care either way. again, i check the air pressure every time i get in. and ill check the nuts on the ring once a month.

On their website, they only say you can mount them without using the bead lock in order to be DOT compliant from what I can tell. Are you seeing something different? In any case, I think I'm gonna go ahead and order the 20in ones :)

Just to update, my 20" Martian wheel order from 9/27 has still not shipped. After really poor communication and customer service from Martian, the owner of Martian finally started emailing me. on 12/12 (11 weeks after I ordered them) they told me the wheels would arrive by Xmas. When the owner first contacted me, he said they would still likely arrive around Xmas. Most recently he stated they should arrive in the first week of January now (over 3 months from ordering them and paying in full for them). If they don't ship by the end of the month I will likely cancel my order and get a refund.

When I ordered them, the website said delivery within 4-6 weeks. Without them getting pushed back again, it's looking more like 14+ weeks. I'm honestly not too optimistic they will ship by the end of the year.

I just checked the website again and it says expected delivery within 2 months after order is placed. This experience has been pretty bad and annoying. It's too bad because I was going to get Martian wheels for my Model S as well, but after this there is no way I will deal with them again.

If you're ok giving Martian a free $4250 loan for more than a quarter of the year (price + shipping costs), and you have the time to spare, then go ahead and give them a try...hopefully others ordering recently don't have to wait as long as I have.

I'm honestly not sure why this order is taking so long and Martian never really explained what happened other than the person who originally replied to my first email last month is no longer with the company. I'm not sure why someone responding to my email wondering where my order was would be responsible for the fact the order is taking 2-3 times longer than the website said it would, but that's really all they said. The owner did say Martian made a few improvements to the components of these wheels, so i would be getting the latest/most updated spec (whatever that means).

The only reason the owner even contacted me was because I left a 1 star review on google. He apparently had no idea what was going on before he saw that review.

If i happen to actually get these, I will take some pics and post them since nobody seems to have the 20" wheels anywhere. But it might be in the spring when my winter wheels come off.

Thumbs down on Martian!
