This is hilarious! I’m by no means an expert on trucks, but I’m fairly decent at nuanced language and I think cvalue13’s comments are hilariously brilliant!!!

Elon said future new models will ramp up faster.

We don't know how fast, but I don't expect it will be a trickle faster.
He said the Cybertruck specifically would ramp up slowly though.

Maybe it’ll be slow start, then fast ramp once they nail down the basics.

No clue.

Come again? Say that in a different way?
Joe makes it sounds like the production line is currently mature enough to need a shifts worth of production associates to move over. His "July to early August" comment makes it sound like the production line is going to be ready mid-August.

So. This is (educated) speculation. They've been doing practice runs for a few weeks. Practice runs as in putting in the processes they've developed on the whiteboard. The engineers are now turning it over to true production line work. I do believe they have built a few trucks in Texas at this point. I do know that top performing MY-GA employees are being readied to move over to Cybertruck towards end of July.

I don't know if they'll train earlier, or if the training also is set to begin late July. I would assume their reason for transitioning the existing force over is due to them being perceived as trainable and ready to go.

Exciting times!

The first batch of MY production folks actually moved over to Cybertruck a couple of months ago. They helped build some trucks at the pilot line in Fremont to get some early reps.

I know you've said before you're at GFTX, but I've got others that share things and that doesn't line up. At least with what they know. Hope you're right.

The positions that have built the Fremont units are engineer level, not GA guys.

If you're saying they've had engineer level taken in Fremont, that is Cybertruck specific, I know that to be true and that they do go back and forth now after spending a good bit of time suitcase living in Fremont.

I really can't be more specific or provide proof without ousting myself unfortunately. Engineers were very much involved for a couple of months and once things smoothed out they brought over the first GA Cybertruck production folks. They put these guys up in a hotel for a month or so and they built X amount of trucks. (I can't say how many)

Conflicting info or not. This is small peanuts compared to the action starting soon around GFTX ?

Exciting stuff happened today.
Rad! I don't usually ask for badges ;) There's several thousand people working in Giga Texas, so a lot of eyes see a lot of things!

Specifically when is your personal guess we see deliveries start?

Employees will get the first batch at the end of Q3 as I think we all know.

For the next round of deliveries after that? I'd rather you tell me what you've heard and I can tell you if that aligns with what I've heard haha.
