Hi everyone!
We hope you're enjoying the warming weather as we approach Summer. We know we are, and we imagine the same goes for anyone else who made it through this recent winter
We hope this will be a useful tool for the community for years to come.
It feels like it was just yesterday that we announced our fitment app, designed to help Tesla owners visualize and experiment with ride heights, alignment settings, wheel & tire sizes, and more. We used our own 3D scans and years of suspension data to give you accurate representations for comparison. While it was already a useful resource, we kept receiving emails and phone calls asking specific ride height, fitment, and spacer size questions – so we rebuilt the app from the ground up – a little bit of an overreaction, you could say!
We're happy to introduce our EV Fitment studio app. In this app you have the power to visualize any wheel fitment combination, with any color, and you can explore the car just like you’re in a video game.
There is still a complete suspension kinematics solver built in, so as you adjust camber and ride height, you’ll see realistic renderings of the fitment and those specific settings.
The app is still in early days, but so far we have both variants of the Model 3, both variants of the Model Y, Model S, Model X, Cybertruck, and even the Rivian R1T. More will come in the future!
The app has features to display specific measurements that you can then use on your own vehicle, or tell your shop what you’d like.
When you select an MPP wheel, the fitments we recommend can be auto-loaded at the click of a button – so you can see exactly how we intended our wheels to look on your car!
You can also set custom car colors and wheel colors, as well as different paint finishes – such as metallic, gloss, satin and matte. We really went a bit overboard on this one, and we’ve just gotten started.
Please feel free to email us or leave a comment with your thoughts or any bug reports. For other wheel manufacturers, we’re may be able to arrange an inclusion for your designs on the app - contact us for details!
