New battery is coming with the dry cathode tech for the cybertruck in the next months.

Unclear if it will affect range but It will lower the battery pack cost.

If they care at all about the cybertruck sales they should at least release a 200 kwh pack. There is some space there on the battery pack.

IIRC, Munro speculated that the "empty" space around the pack perimeter was a crush zone, to defend against thermal runaway in a collision.

Now that Tesla has some real-world crashes to analyze, maybe they can make use of more of that space? But even using the entire inner volume of the pack AND switching to 46100 cells will not get you to 200 kWh.
