Always carry a Byrna for these situations. Pepper balls are extremely effective.
Any use of force in these situations has the potential to escalate the level of force even further, and then it's a lose-lose game. Deescalation and/or avoidance is the best strategy, not some weird ass weaponry. If you're going to carry something, carry a handgun, but for its intended purpose of saving your life and not some measurement contest.

Me neither! But, I think the point you’re trying to make is a little weak.

Ford was never a “special government employee” [found by a federal judge to probably be inappropriately accessing government files], isn’t alive, and hasn’t been in charge of Ford since 1945.

If Elon hadn’t been at Tesla for 80 years by now, I’m sure no one would be associating him with the brand and transferring that hatred to it.
It is also Elon that made the brand about himself, and who changed his vision and direction beyond reversal, so the brand image is a reflection of that. Unless Tesla somehow manages to radically disassociate itself it will continue to experience the consequences. I can't fathom how that might even be possible. Its customer base will inevitably shift.

Though I don't see how, could the new one be more lucrative? I simply cannot see how anything Musk is doing with Tesla could sustain revenue, much less pull 10-fold profits from his new target market. Are they suddenly going to go green and want EVs? Do they want to give up driving to AI? Do they want robots that can take their physical work jobs?

Yeah telling someone to “calm down” is the best way to get them to ramp up.
Not as scary as telling a woman “stop being so hysterical”

Agreed.

Never deploy force unless you fear great bodily harm or death.

If this guy was to run up to in a manner that led someone to believe they were being attacked … well that’s a different situation.

If he is just yelling and pissed off. Cool story bro. Have a good day…..

All evidence is to the contrary. I agree with you. The only thing I would offer is I am now convinced that he doesn’t care because he views Chinese consumers as his core customer on a go forward basis. The problem with that is as the video that I posted earlier today shows, Tesla is not leading in China and in fact is considered to be behind by the Chinese customer at least according to the guys from Out of Spec or are either there right now or just got back.

“… [T]he only people buying Teslas in [China] are those who like do not know about cars.”

😬

His behavior totally checks out for a lot of bikers out there lol. I call this phenomenon "TikTok brain rot". If you check this dude's social media logs, I guarantee you that they consume media in the exact same manner as you would see watching the documentary "Idiocracy".

Also, for some reason we, as a society for the last few decades, has deemed it appropriate to shut down all mental health facilities that were equipped to house the deranged. 🤷‍♂️

I was going to start a thread about the incident in this video when I saw this thread. In my case, it almost was assault with a deadly weapon. I probably will start a new thread, because I don't want to hijack this one... but it does support OP's experience!

I won't entertain whether I was right or wrong - not looking for comments here either as I'll start a new thread. I've run it past two police officers and knowledgeable friends. With the full 10 minutes of video prior to this, knowledge of the highway and three plow operations, I'm confident that this is on the plow driver. Other Tesla owners immediately jumped to Cybertruck Hate, and I'm now agreeing. Crazy what triggers people.

It's always the same "some reason."

Yes. At three levels. A month ago. No response.

I'm about to start a new thread on this if further comments are warranted... don't want to de-rail this one. 😀
