there is no “production candidate” category in the Tesla steps between “release candidate” and either confirmation builds, or retail builds

but there *is* Xwitter value to overly-optimistic miss-interpretations

Right. All we really know from that Xwitter posting is that Elon is seen seated in a Cybertruck and that he called it a production candidate.

and what I know from *not* Twitter is that is an RC he’s sitting in (and earlier one at that), and the term “production candidate” is not a term of art or utilized in the roadmap

I don’t say this stuff to be a downer, or critical

I say it because these sorts of unsubstantiated and incorrect assertions I believe do more harm than good

it’s hard enough managing expectations with the CT

some appear to think they’re doing a service by getting WAY out over their skis
