NorCal Picked up 2/14

After 1556 days later, it’s mine!!!!
Dublin delivery RN1127445xx vin 14xx
Pre ordered a few hours after announcement.
Invite 12/8, Ordered 12/9, Vin 2/3, delivery scheduled and picked up 2/14.

Drove about 100 mile (literally in circles) because of much I love it.

- steering wheel adjustment wouldn’t work at delivery, but it was a 15 min fix. They took it in and reset it.

- so much attention, even in the Bay Area. Getting it tinted tomorrow.

- took me about 2 min to get used to the steering and truck dynamics (I work in the autonomous vehicle sector, so I have driven 100s of different vehicles thoroughly) but my mom and dad struggled for a good 15-20 min to get a hang of it.

- it was raining pretty heavily in the bay but the bed stayed relevantly dry (guess I got lucky)

- range isn’t as bad as excepted, I would get similar numbers in MX plaid (driving spiritedly, of course)

Congratulations! I was wondering if I should try to change my delivery location from Sunnyvale to Dublin. I feel like Dublin is newer and nicer.

I'm in Oregon and would love to change locations, but I'm saving a lot on taxes ? being "patient"...if that's what they call this..

I’m very interested in how you figured this out! I’m listed for the Austin Pond Springs service center, but wondering if that’s the best option.

Can I ask who you called to change locations prior to getting your vin? I am trying to change locations but was told they can’t do it until I get my vin, and to contact them as soon as I do. I’m concerned it will be too late at that point. Thanks.

2/3 9 am no vin and Sunnyvale delivery. 2/3 10am called Tesla and made the change to Dublin. Noon had a vin.

I showed them on app I placed order 12/22/23 for Foundation and they laughed and said I wouldn't get a truck until end of year or 2025. Said, so so sorry. only employees and half a million ahead of me if didn't order 12/8 or 12/9 timeframe.
