Thanks for posting. If convenient, when you take additional photos, please include some from INSIDE the truck so we can see if/how the lightbar affects the view out of the windshield and how it fits in the space above the built-in sun visors. With both lights on and off. Thanks.

This looks 100 times better than all of the aftermarket light bars. That being said, I still don’t want it on my cyber beast. Mine will be going up for sale the day the Lightbar gets delivered.
Yeah, I was thinking along the same lines. I am not planning on off-roading, and it seems a waste to just use it for driving the 3/4 mile long driveway (though it would be awesome for snow plowing- maybe on my tractor?) I will wait to get some feedback on the wind noise and if the additional drag has any effects on range.

Otherwise, can we list items for sale on this board??

I'll take it!!

Is it too early for that? Haha!!

Seriously, I wonder how that works with installation. Is installation only included with the original purchaser, or can it be transferred to a new buyer?

I guess we'll see as more of these go up for sale!!

Will be interesting if they can hand it over to you vs installing. Does anyone know?

I am also wondering that. I would like to see if there is way to make it easily removable with some custom hardware. I think i would not want it on all the time.

There is a link
https://service.tesla.com/docs/Serv...ruck_Off_Road_Lightbar_Harness_Connection.pdf

Unfortunately it doesn't give the document, just an error message.

That link is pointed to from

https://service.tesla.com/en-US/documents?searchText=CD-24-90-001

The service document for installation (minus that last step!) does describe tucking in the wire, at least (near the bottom).

https://service.tesla.com/docs/Cybe...UID-3FB15C20-B219-4700-A53A-D946616091A9.html
I uploaded that document in this post:

_ Cybertruck Off Road Lightbar Harness Connection _
"This document provides third-party MV accessory information for the Cybertruck. It locates the roof accessory jumper harness and provides information to safely splice the off-road lightbar harness into the jumper harness for an off-road lightbar that is currently installed on the vehicle. These instructions should only be performed by trained professionals."

Here are some pics of the installed Offroad Lightbar. Service center did not tuck the harness under the roof applique. I did not expect them to splice the wires in or remove the blackout film tape, they are not permitted to do so or even assist.

Updated with more info:

They kept the truck overnight to allow the urethane time to dry. The lightbar is "glued" to the glass. The service rep said "she hopes I like the way it makes the truck look. You can't use it on the road." Tesla's installation instructions states "Tesla employess are not permited to connect or assist with the connection..." so you are left on your own. I'm hoping to have time to connect it tomorrow or over the weekend. I'll try to take some pictures of the connection process and what it looks like with the lights on.

The wire does not have to stand up like that and will be tucked neatly away after the harness is hooked up. They asked me a couple of times if I want them to install it since it is not removeable.

I did not hear any wind noise from the lightbar and I always wondered what effect it will have on range. Guess the real way to find out is put it in a wind tunnel.

Wheel covers were not in stock. I put my center ring back & lug nut covers.

Did you get any documentation indicating the output level (lumens)?

Glued to the windshield. ?‍♂?‍♂?‍♂?‍♂
Yikes.
Yeah. That sounds like a huge issue if the windshield gets a crack. I wonder if they will claim "it's within spec"

Why didn't you have Tesla tuck the wire inside the top roof panel? That seems to be a separate step from hooking up the wire harness.

I did ask and was told the technician thought it would pinch the wires. I'll see what happens when I connect it up.
