Wow… so not even the 1% is low enough to use the lightbar as fun light accent, huh? I noticed the CT headlights are very bright when you look at them front on

Thank you for offering to take and share more pics for the many of us who are fascinated with the long expected lightbar accessory
Not usable in any way, shape, or form while on public roadways or even visible from public roadways.

No Noise. I drove on the Interstate at 75 mph and could not detect any noise from the Lightbar. In my opinion, there are no downsides with the Light Bar installed that I know of at this time.
Thank you so much for the info and pictures. Do you mind taking photos of the whole truck from the front and side. So it's further away. Just curious how it looks with the truck overall. Thank you!

What happens if you go back to the outlet screen and turn off the roof power feed? I'm assuming the light bar takes the place of the roof power feed, correct?

Correct. That screen is another place to fully manage the Light Bar, now that it is installed. The labels say "Light Bar" instead of Roof.

Which leads me back to what I've asked before, once it's installed and the black cover tape removed, how the heck are we supposed to cover it? AFAIK it's too different (triangular rather than rectangular cross section, with the long leg of the triangle glued to the windshield) for existing aftermarket covers to do any good. Has anyone found a cover for it, or invented one that's practical (stays put, not ugly, not noisy) and is willing to make another for a reasonable price? (I'm hopeless sewing or anything like that, and don't have a 3D printer, either)

That's why I have NOT filed a service request to get mine installed. I'd like to see a solution there before I do that. And not just keep a roll of tape around to cover it with again.

By "visible" I think he meant "on", not that people can see you have a light there, correct?

Many states require that the light is not only not used on-road, but is covered, presumably so either you don’t look like an emergency vehicle or you can’t blind an oncoming driver even if you accidentally turn it on.

Is this light considered a "Reflector lamp"?

PSA: I had lightbar installed at service center yesterday. I found this thread for tutorial on how to finish wiring, but discovered that Tesla had fully installed/wired it. I just pealed off the black plastic, ticked the “turn on roof power” and it said “light bar ready” (or something to that affect) and it works. I thought I read that truck needed to be in “Offroad” mode to turn it on, but this is not the case. Obviously illegal on road, but you CAN use it in normal driving modes.

Correct. I had the same experience, but did not need to the remove the lightbar tape. LB works in all modes, but you may notice it will shut off when you put CT in park.

Thanks for the info. Which service center installed it?
