I want to see the service manual instructions on how to *remove* it when replacing your windshield.

But then,

I've read through the installation guide. I'll break it down simply:
1. It's glued to the windshield.
2. Blackout tape covers the light so Tesla has a single process they can use in all states where it's illegal to have a light that high above the ground (looking at you, Maryland)
3. Tesla routes the electrical into the truck and buttons up everything outside.
4. Tesla enables the light in the center screen.
5. The owner will have to plug in the single 48v connector at the B (?) pillar to enable the light to be turned on. It's also more complicated than just plugging in the connector. here's what's involved:

5a. Turn vehicle off.
5b. Disconnect first responder cut loop electrical connector under hood beneath the rear under hood apron.
5c. Disconnect eCPA on the MV battery connector (near the other connector)
5d. Wait 2 minutes.
5e. connect lightbar.
5f. reconnect 48v.
5g. power up the Cybertruck.

My local Tesla service center (Knoxville TN) is installing their first ever light bar tomorrow.....on my Beast. I'll check back in tomorrow afternoon with pictures and details. They've told me they will do the full install but there is one step they are not allowed to do and informed me I will be responsible for doing that. I'll give more details tomorrow but I suspect it's simply hooking up the power supply on the roof power source.

Anyone else receive a call to get the lightbar installed?

I read elsewhere that the Tesla light bar only works in Off-road modes and is linked to high beams by default. I’m curious if true.
