Permanent PCS fix

I got a message from Tesla service about continuing delay in getting PCS parts. I told him no worries since I got a loaner and also responded that I will be hoping the fix will last a long long time. He responded back saying it is a permanent fix!

Yeah but maybe they know the root cause and maybe they are right this time. At least the response is positive better than response specifying hopefully.

As long as you don't drive the truck or charge it much after this service center appointment it should be permanent

also hopefully your replacement is installed properly. one of the earlier replacements resulted in the need for a full battery pack change. but this was one of the earlier ones and it was on a YT influencers very heavily used CTs. (TesLatino) hopefully the rest of the fleet will benefit from that learning case.

not likely since the drive is not activated during charging .

the most permanent fixes I've ever seen started as temporary
