Kind of reduces the appeal when a truck which is $20k+ less expensive looks exactly the same.
I don't understand this at all.
Is it that you want people to know you spent more or that you want people to know from a visual standpoint that your CT has more capability then then some of the other CTs?
In either case; Why?

I don’t. Was referring to this:

In 1899, the sociologist Thorstein Veblen coined the term conspicuous consumption to explain the spending of money on and the acquiring of luxury commodities (goods and services) specifically as a public display of economic power — the income and the accumulated wealth of the buyer.

Often for higher end vehicles, looking wealthy is just as important as actually being wealthy. Honestly, I suspect this is why some people want the Cybertruck to be expensive.

And the opposite, taking pride in saving and getting a bigger value for your money.. cheap fuck. I take pride in that! ;)

Tesla doesn't list 0-60 times for the CT anymore but a well-endowed quad CT compared to the "lowly" dual CT is like comparing a 100m sprinter running a time of 9.9 sec to one running a 9.4. Both are very fast and faster than 99.9% of any track runner. The same analogy can be used on any ICE truck allowed on the road. Of course there's more to being well-endowed than simple specs. You have to know how to use that speed and when not to.
Other Teslas have different wheels, depending on the configuration (P vs LR). so maybe the CT will have a differentiator.

They'll all have the same awesome wiper, tho

My standard preference for cars is a tan interior because it makes the inside feel less claustrophobic.
But for Cybertruck, I want a nice dark/light two tone grey. Like the pinnacle of design...

I’m with you. I tend to indicate this by having a vehicle which is 10+ years old at all times. I am honestly a little embarrassed by my Model Y and will likewise be a little embarrassed by the Cybertruck. When I do get the Cybertruck, it’ll be the first time I’ve had 2 cars new enough to have car payments in 20+ years. I’ve either used for cash or bought new and kept the car for 10+ years most of my adult life.

People will have to add gold plated spoked wheels, gold mirrors, and a gold plated wiper to show off how loaded they are.

I'm gonna stand on the corner with my CT and a cardboard sign "will work for kWh"

I have never owned a car newer than 12 years old at the time of acquisition. My current truck has over 250k miles on it and is 15 years old. Cybertruck (or whatever EV truck I eventually get) will be the one and only new vehicle I purchase my entire life. And I will run it into the ground until one of us dies.

EDIT: correction.. also considering getting a Livewire Del-Mar. So 2.

My first new car purchase was a '92 Miata, which I drove for 25 years.

My Cybertruck will be my 2nd ever new vehicle purchase.

This is one of those weird things about the Cybertruck. Musk has said there would be no branding on it. That means nobody is going to notice your conspicuous spending. Kind of reduces the appeal when a truck which is $20k+ less expensive looks exactly the same.
I bet there's gotta be something to differentiate between models, even if it's subtle. Like a little plaque that says CT2, or 4WD, or something. Then again, I don't really mind the purist/minimalist approach, crisp & clean.
