I was also checking the app daily. I did not get notified of the VIN, but it showed up in the app Friday night. Sunday morning the service center called to tell me they had my truck. That must mean that the VIN is published after the truck passes quality checks.

Wow congrats, at first I thought you were a 8' tall giant but then saw the ride height set low and standing slightly in front of it.
Appreciate the report and hope your enjoying the vehicle.
Would love some trip/odometer info once you get some miles on it to get an idea of wh/mile you are getting on your drives along with how you feel the headlights do at night on some of those dark lonely TX roads.

okay, I know that some of us here are in the tesla cult... but let's at least not act like it's unreasonable to want to see a $100,000 vehicle before you have already paid for it.

No , and you will not be writing the check. It will be in advance or cashier's.

Last time I saw many engineers and others building the truck. Sounding kind of well you know...

Lets try to be respectful of this thread. This is an owners delivery thread. Let's not mess it up.

I am not sure why people think that just because you paid for it that the world ends. One can get there and then decline delivery. As in walk away and say I want another truck or I am out. If you take possession and drive away that is when it all changes. So either follow the way it works at Tesla or move on.
