Most likely it was already sold. The dealer posted the ads just for a show. They are not that dumb to buy it for 244000 if not a deal already on hand.

Yes they are, because if the deal falls through someone else is supposedly in line.

The was a rumor that because it was Porsche that purchased it was for tear down purposes. But seeing a dealership resell it kind of invalidates that point.

I personally would never go to a dealership that specializes in X brand, but then buy a car of brand Y.

At this point, Porsche is already the fourth owner. Nothing can be done about it. It's only the first owner who may or may not have signed a no-resell clause. NO ONE ELSE IS BOUND BY THAT AGREEMENT. Right?
True.

But that owner could be held liable for the chain of transfers as part of a straw-buyer system.

There are at most 10s of people who will pay over $200k for a CT. The more people who get one, the less cool it is to have it, meaning the first buyer premium goes away. I don't doubt these sales are happening, but they won't happen for long. This problem fixes itself with more production, or ironically, more people trying to flip.

Tesla scores again! Free advertising with a nice level of hype at the same time Ford is slowing down with their EV’s covering a lot of storage parking lots.

I doubt the CT price will do anything but go up until the backlog is a lot smaller.

This is so true!! Tesla doesn’t need perks or discounts, they are selling like hotcakes!

If my Porsche dealer had one, I would go for a visit. It will give the guy some traffic! But it cost him $244,000. Tesla made money on the deal!
