Would you still buy the Cybertruck if it goes up in price by $10K?

Assumption: Cybertruck isn't the 3/Y price it had at reveal. The P model is $79K, the S is $59K

Speaking of financing, can anyone speak on the quality of the financing Tesla has been offering recently? (I know interest rates have gone up a lot since 09/2018). Wondering what we can expect if we look at Tesla's in house financing currently. TIA.
i finanaced a small portion of the model Y i bought last month... tesla had the lowest interest rate offered between them, my credit union, and usaa... so i let them set it up for me.

I post Cybertruck stuff on the Internet and people like it.

I just see 500 miles at or under 80k to be really unrealistic. The back log would be tremendous. But That's what Tesla wants, tremendous demand.

They need a million reasons to open another Giga Factory in the USA. This could easily yield that million reasons.

I don't believe they have the battery output they need for 200k 500 mile Cybertrucks annually quite yet. But everyday is a new day.

I'm sure as hell not going to tell Tesla's marketing department (I think his name is Steve) that I'm willing to pay more for the Cybertruck! I played poker once and showing your hand before putting your money down is not helpful. :)

I'm sure there are Tesla employees here (both self-declared and lurking) but I doubt anyone at the C-Suite level takes the time to analyze our insane ramblings.

I will pay $79k for a Dual, if it has 400+ miles of range.

I will pay $89K for a Tri, if it has 450+ miles of range.

And will pay my originial FSD price on top of that (which does NOT show on my Tesla reservation page anymore....so hmmm.....)

Tesla with a C-Suite, what a quaint idea ... :)

My suggestion was that if Tesla had a marketing department, his name would likely be Steve.

I'd hate to send Tesla the message that we're all willing to pay an extra 10 grand for the CT.

I completely agree. These polls are like folks shooting themselves in the foot. Regardless of what you really would do, you should always pick the first option: " will cancel if it is more than announced price" . Honesty is really not a great policy here.

Strange that FSD no longer appears…mine still does:

No I won't pay more for 500 miles of range. The break even point takes too long vs what I would otherwise buy. Period. End of story. Shut it down. Close the poll. Discussion over.

If Tesla will offer the Quad-Motor version, I'll buy it. I've owned a Rivian R1T, and now R1SN all Quad-Motor; I'm hooked!
Of course, I'll take a Tri-motor if that's all I can get.

Notice the result, that this crushes the dual motor purchases but doesn't really hurt the performance model.

Originally there were fewer Performance (Tri Motor) reservations on the board. So they're highly over-represented in the poll.
