Same here, just got the error this morning. My confidence on taking this on a road trip is sinking, unfortunately.

Service Center resolved it today by replacing the PCS. Done in 1 day.

I’m having same issue. Happened 3 times in 2 days and was getting worse. Towed to Tesla last week. Still there with sparse updates and slow response times. The annoying thing with cybertruck service is you have to take the truck to them to validate your concerns, and because they never have parts in stock, you have to take it back when they arrive in a couple of weeks.

Brought it to them earlier in July for same issue and they said it should have been resolved with a firmware update. Wrong!
Thanks for reporting to forum. You are likely to be 27th reported (ref: Pull Over Safely. Critical Issue Detected). Pls update us the ‘Service Summary’ screen snapshot (when it is done) for helping others to aware the root-cause and resolution from Tesla.

I'm not attempting to minimize this issue for the affected, but this is an inflamatory post with more feelings than facts.

-Many of us (early CT FS adopters) had encountered/reported this issue
Not true. They are making ~3000/week now, based on the 30 you claim reported that's just 1% of 1 week of production. So extrapolating outwards ... an insignificant number have had this issue.

and Tesla Service Center has been overwhelmed.
So every service center is overwhelmed? Not true.

There was exactly 1 on the lot when I had my post delivery issues fixed, mine. It took about 2 hours. They had to replace a rear seat bolster that had a small tear in it. No other issues.

Tesla Model: Cybertruck Foundation Series
Vin# (last 6 digits): 02006x

Issue: The red flashing message “Pull Over Safely. Critical Issue Detected”

Details: This is a data point of CT FS issues in our CT Owners Club Forum; and this is not an insult message to Tesla engineering. The CT ran fine yesterday. This morning I backed it out from garage and surprisingly found the issue (see photo); and here are my main actions:
Calm and patiently read the pop-up messages and followed (without any good results) > Called the Roadside Assistance > Rode the tow truck to Tesla Service Center > Drop off the CT > Pickup a loaner Model-Y and drive home > Waiting for updating messages in Tesla App (The estimated service time is 1 week).

Notes:
-Many of us (early CT FS adopters) had encountered/reported this issue and Tesla Service Center has been overwhelmed.
-Stat data in this forum: 22 owners reported this issue in 5 months time frame (Mar-05 to Aug-03 2024).
-Tesla services and engineering should have good feedback loop for analyzing the root cause and providing proactive resolutions.
-This issue for sure will drag down the CT profit margin and wearing out users’ patience.
Some of your post is objective (and good) but some of it is subjective. I am sure that we all worry about this happening and is one of the primary reasons I haven't taken my CT on a trip, but your last 'note' about profit margins and patience is not objective; it is simply your frustration coming out. I don't think that it helps resolve the issue, which is what we all really want. For my part I acknowledge and accept your feelings without explanation.

Picked up my Cyberbeast a week ago. Drove it on Monday to get it wrapped. When I went to pick it up later in the week, I received the same error. Rear wheel steering disabled, along with some low voltage error, speed limited to 4mph. Unfortunately, I couldn't make the error to away, so I needed to be towed to Tesla service.

They are saying it should be completed later in the week. Didn't even put 50 miles on... I am hopeful that Tesla can fix it quickly and that it's smooth sailing after. Just posting for reference. VIN is in the 27xxx range.

There's no proof they are making 3k per week. Where did you get that? Most online are still saying about 1400 per week with the Vin numbers.

27 people getting this error message, some of which were self-correcting, seems pretty insignificant to me. I've had error messages in every single new car I've purchased going back to 1996. Most of them turn out to be nothing. We put 180,000 miles on a 2000 Volvo S80 T-6 with the "Check Engine" error message displayed 95% of the time, starting from new. We had the Volvo Dealership fix it 3 times until we figured out they were simply clearing it because it kept coming back within a week. Then we just ignored it with no harm.

Tesla seem to get fewer error messages than most modern cars and most of them are due to software errors that happen under certain unjustified conditions and the software is then fixed in the next one or two software updates.

One day when my Tesla Model 3 Performance was about two years old I got a whole slew of very serious sounding error messages. I turned the car off, got out, locked it, waited two minutes, got back in and drove it home and never did anything about them. Over four years later I've never had a repeat.

So, it’s been at the service center since 2 Tuesdays ago. Was diagnosed late last week as a damaged wiring harness connector pin related to the HV battery.

part needs to be sourced. Will update on the final outcome and total length of days.

Must say I have been enjoying this model S plaid loaner they gave me.

Same thing happened to me after charging. After a few resets the error went away and is driveable. Going to bring it into service soon.
