I will be waiting until there's a show truck at a Tesla store near me.

I only once ordered something before, 2006 HD Screamin Eagle Vrod Destroyer, traveled to the Dakotaā€™s to set on that bad boy before I took delivery. Iā€™ll do the same with my CT, donā€™t much care where I gotta go but Iā€™ll; ā€œSet in the Bad Boy before I take deliveryā€. Who knows, I may even get to see the Great One himself.

what's the insight on how "comfy" this interior will be? rented a new tahoe in vegas and was really surprised on how nice and cushy the thing was, and i'm no chevy fan. i'm hoping the seats/armrests will be comfortable and not too IKEA... i want comfort...

I'd like to say I'll purchase sight unseen, but I doubt it. That's a lot of money to spend not knowing how the seats feel, how comfortable it is to drive, how the views are, etc.

It might not work exactly the same, but I can tell you how the process went with our Model Y. They started production of the MY in March 0f 2020. By late June my local Tesla showroom had one available for test drives. We test drove it in July. Placed an order in August and it was ready for delivery in late September.

On delivery day we went to the local Tesla service center and they handed us a "key" and told us where it was. We got to take as much time as we wanted to inspect the car. Sit in it, poke around, play with things. I don't know if there was a procedure in place to take it for a drive, because I didn't ask to do that. Anyway, after about 30 minutes of us checking it out we headed back into the service center to complete the transaction.

Again, I don't know if the CT will be handled exactly the same, but I suspect you will have several chances to test one before signing your name on the dotted line.

When Tesla begins deliveries, even if they don't have one to test drive, they will probably have vehicles in the lot awaiting pickup, and you could at least see one that way. Of course, any of us would be happy to let you 'set' in ours if we are so lucky as to get ours before you. I bet they will have the prototype at the Giga Austin open house.

I didnā€™t know I even wanted a CyberTruck until I saw the news after the reveal. I immediately knew I *needed* one and made a reservation.

I then ordered a MY for my wife before they began delivery and she had never even been in a Tesla before. She absolutely loves it and I covet it.

I know Iā€™ll love the CyberTruck even without ever setting eyes on it.

I know what you mean. That's why I won't buy one sight unseen. I'm buying two sight unseen!

Hey guys,
Several year back I was planning to purchase a truck I saw setting on the dealer's lot. Looked great, nice exterior color contrast, nice trim package, it was beautiful! However, when I sat inside, all the gloss and grandeur faded away because there was a hood scoop, an operating air intake that looked great on the truck but it also obstructed my line of vision and made the truck hard for me to drive and judge where the finder were. It was just an overall bad fit and I did not purchase the vehicle.

Does anyone plan to purchase the Cybetruck sight unseen without walking around it, setting in it, driving it, etc...?

Setting in the forementioned truck made all the difference, I didn't even need to drive it after that. I knew it wasn't for me, but it was beautiful!!!
yes.
