I started to get this issue and just got out of the car and got back in to solve it. It continued getting it on a bigger frequency and I freaked out when it put me on limp mode. I have an appt with the service center, but I hope it doesn't take long.
How long were you guys out of your truck?

I’m not sure what happened between yesterday and this morning but I just got a message saying my CT is ready for pick up!

Service rep says after they replaced the super manifold, the other alerts are no longer active. I wonder why that’s different than what I was told previously ?. Oh well, I’ll take it!
WOOT!

The truck got towed around 4:00pm May 14th and I picked it back up around 10:00am May 21.

My other issue is why can they ship a complete truck overnight from Austin to my service center but parts are taking over a week?? Like why is not as much of a priority!?!
They ordered my parts on May 2 and apparently the parts have not arrived yet... ETC is June 10 for me.

Super frustrating - it feels like Tesla is a company that doesn't care about its owners that much. Once you're out of door problem is yours.

Did you take delivery prior to issue! Yikes! My ETC is Tuesday! Fingers crossed!

did you have to tow it? did the issue went away after you got out and back in?
Yes had to tow it via tesla roadside.. I got in and out of the truck 3 times to restart and every time the errors came back. We also did the reboot process (holding down both scroll buttons on the wheel until screen reset). Errors continued.

I have driven 294 miles so far since the supermanifold was replaced and everything is working great.

Leaving the gym today the speakers start beeping and a red alert message on the screen: PULL OVER SAFELY Critical issue detected.

I then drove it to a parking lot and got out of the vehicle to try to restart it. Same error messages. Those errors went away after a few minutes so I put it in reverse, drove a few feet, then the beeping/alert came back. Called roadside and they told me to try rebooting the system by holding the two scroll buttons down until the screen restarts with the Cybertruck logo. This didn’t help, alerts came back so they called a tow truck to take it to the service center.

Service center calls me when the truck arrives and says it will “be some time before they can check it out”. I asked what he meant by that and he said they have some cars that have been sitting for 6 days and haven’t been looked at yet as they are backlogged. ?

I’ll be picking up the loaner vehicle they offered tomorrow. Assuming it will be 2-3 weeks or more before I see my truck again.

Miles: 500
Days driven: 3
VIN: 8800

Results of massive lay off again?

Don't worry, Tesla is hiring AI people -- this time. Meanwhile Musk is busy trying to solve water crisis somewhere via desalination and transport (seriously, to places who can't even afford food?) .

Actually, I'm really sorry. Looks like you are going to miss your CT for a while.

The fan boiz would make an excuse that it's new vehicle. 4+ years and Tesla has not done simulation and tests on prototypes?

If they replaced the supermanifold then it was likely a cooling/heating problem with the batteries that created the error and put the truck in limp mode. If my understanding is correct, they share one heat pump for heating/cooling the cab, and the batteries, and if the batteries don't stay within the correct temperature range the vehicle defaults to limp mode.

You're a little late to this thread but the issue has been resolved (Supermanifold replacement). I was out of the truck for 7 days.

I am an 80xx VIN as well and have had mine for three weeks and everything is going great. No errors or significant issues.
I think the vast majority of people have no major issues at all, just like you and me, but most of us don't bother to report "no issues". Reading about the small minority of people that had hiccups creates the false impression that problems are widespread.

Most of us are just enjoying our Cybertrucks and not spending a lot of time of the forums to report they are still free of issues.
