Regen noise at 45 mph

When I let off the accelerator at or around 45 mph, the regen causes a type of mechanical rumble that it doesn’t at other speeds. Has anyone else experienced a change in regen “feel” at a certain speed?

Mine does the exact same thing. Only between 40-50mph approx.

Maybe not a rumble, does it sound more like a cyclical thing, like a frequency beat?. I just returned from my Tesla service call and they said that noise is normal and it originates from the gearbox, which is a bit dissappointing. He also offered to show the same symptom on another cybertruck. Also, the noise is not regen only, it happens with acceleration as well, the only time when the sound is not present is when there is no acceleration or regen. Mine is at 45mph as well.

Somebody in this forum said that this is due to large gearboxes, also audible in other types of vehicles.

Search this forum for the word "modulated', I posted a recording of the noise, several people confirmed that they are experiencing the same thing.

I don't think what he's describing is the modulated motor sound that is normal on all the cybertrucks. It's like a light rumble strip feeling in the pedal that is almost audible in light regen only around 40-50mph. I drove another cybertruck recently that didn't exhibit this behavior so I have a service visit scheduled to see what they can make of it.

Hello guys, so was the noise described in this post normal at the end? . I have been reading new posts of similar noise and vibration where the solution apparently has been the replacement of a motor.

Same, I am hearing how it relates to a motor issue that is not currently easily repaired, so they are replacing them. Best to check with Tesla and have it looked at.
